We blamed Bledsoe for the OL collapse; do we now blame the kicker?

How is it that hte OL can't block well enough to force a safety early? Previously, when the OL collpased we blamed Bledsoe. So do we now blame Romo for the collpase? And what about the OL collpase on the blocked FG? Why not blame Vanerjact? Heck, if Bledsoe is beingt blamed unfairly then shouldn't we also also blame Romo and Vanderjacht unfairly? SIGH!!! This is not meant to be a pro-Bledsoe thread, or and anti-Romo/Vanderjacht thread - instead it's meant to be an anti-OL thread. This unit is just sub-par and it's costing us games laft-and-right. When are they doing to start being called out?

Not sure what you're trying to say.

Slow down.

The unit on FG is not exactly the OL, there are guys on that unit that are not OL players. The line did a decent job during the game but did make mistakes.

the running game is ranked pretty high, reflecting positively on the OLine.

and Romo is playing so far above the level bledsoe was playing at.

ST was bad all day

By the way Eddie, I think we've got a QB there. :)

The line on a FG is not the same as the OL during regular play. Now our OL is not perfect.. which is why having someone like romo is better than bledsoe who has cement shoes on. As far as the safety goes.. that was just a horrible play call from the sideline.. from the replay it looked like Dallas was trying to run a quick trap.. look like Marco was pulling and got tripped, leaving his guy free.. it should have just been either a QB sneak,, to get some space or a very quick hitting dive.

What part of my initial post is unclear???

As I said: "This is...meant to be an anti-OL thread. This unit is just sub-par and it's costing us games laft-and-right."

That's the point - that the OL is again to blame for this loss, yet everyone is trying to point fingers to other places. Before it was Bledosoes faul, when it really was the OL's. Now it's the secondary's fault, or TO's fault. When are we going to finally point ot the OL as the nature of the overall problem - or are we going to continue to give them a pass???

It's Bledsoe's fault for all the flaws and deficiences this team has...the sooner you learn that the better. :D

Dude...

have you even seen the way Romo has been sustaining drives on third and long, avoiding pressure?

do you think Bledsoe was doing that with this line? If Bledsoe was still in there, we would have lost by 30 plus against Carolina, and been killed by the Commander's blitzes last game...

Romo is the REASON we are sustaining drives...

It's all about mental mistakes....STUPID ones!

This is a result of lack of disipline...it's sickening.

If we can cut the mental mistakes we win...period.

You have to admit, ROMO is better for our situation--right?

I would blame a mis-communication on the line--or lack thereof

its about ** being a bledsoefan

Wrong! Don't assume that! I'm actually a Romo supporter because it's the only viable alternative given the putrid OL play. Also, it's about time we got some youth at the QB position and hopefully we also draft a real QB in the offseason to give Romo some vialbe competition (but that discussion is for another thread; right now we have Romo and I'm cool with that).

The pointi s that htis OL has had too many mewntal lapses at critical moments that directly lead to points for the other team on the following drive. It's costing us games directly, and before people what to Blame the Bledsoe's or the Roy Williams' of the world for the Cowboys' woes, it's time the finger get pointed to the OL where most of the apses occur. I like Romo, but we need to improve this OL even for him.

Most people have been blaming the O-line for years. No one has let them off the hook. Add their inconsistent play with Bledsoe and you had a horrible situation. Romo is a better fit, but everyone knows the O-line has to be better.
