Just think if Belicheck just finished his gig with Cleveland and JJ had contacted him we would be saying that he wasn't successful and that he sucked.

No matter what this will be a totally different set of circumstances and with a good OC and other good asst. coaches he could have alot of success here. We certainly are talented and can improve and add to our team thru FA and this next draft.

One thing is for sure. His damn defenses bring pressure and GET AFTER THE QB. I for one would love that aspect of his game. We may not have the other pressure players in place yet but you can be sure he will get them here - pronto.

If he is hired let's give him a chance. It just may work out.

But Wade Phillips was not the head coach of those Bills teams. DC does not get credit for taking teams to Super Bowls. I do not want Wade Phillips!! Just another geriatric. I know of one buffalo fan that thinks highly of Phillips. He said he got them to the playoffs with a weak roster.
