watching that game. Flozell stays healthy- our LB's don't drop like flies.
And if Rivera and Johnson had played up to last year. A healthy Henry takes the pressure off of the safeties and allows Roy to rampage. Our WR's catch the balls- unlike Seattles. And Witten would have had a field day.
Roths stank it up so much we would have had 2-3 picks.t

Every team gets hit by the injury bug. We unfortunately got hit where we had the least depth (outside of QB)

But that is football every team loses players but teams that make the playoffs and have sucess are the team that has players step up.

could've, should've, would've. Only thing that matters. We didn't.

Time to polish up the rose-colored glasses for next year when we could, should and will win it all. :D

I believe the first Eagles game shows how good this team is capable of being.

Kind of hard to win the SB when you failed to play good enough to make the playoffs

I think any of 16 teams could've probably won against either of those two last night- they both got hot when it counted, caught some lucky breaks, played in easy divisions (though one didn't even win theirs)- that's the NFL of the present and future-anybody has a chance- I mean, honestly, if Washington had gotten in that game last night, are you confident that we definitely wouldn't be talking about them as champs-the way it is now, pretty much any team can beat any other if they catch some breaks- I think there is a bottom level in the league, but I don't think there is a true top level anymore.

Have to laugh at those that claim the great teams can overcome injuries. That is BS. If it happens to the wrong players, no team overcomes it.
Of course, none of us before the season thought that the one critical injury that we could not take would be to the Hotel.

Key had said something interesting just before the last game of the season when we still had a chance to make the playoffs. Key said that if we got in we would be among the three best teams entering the playoffs. It sounded like a bad argument at the time, but the more you watched these playoffs, the more you could see Key's point.

In the end we missed the playoffs because of our deficiency at OT. Had we been even average at that position then I think we would have made the playoffs and made some noise.

In order to win it last night, we woulda had to have been playing. We weren't there for we could not have won it last night. If we were playing the steelers last night, We woulda gotten our heads handed to us. You guys forget we have no Oline. You think JJ coulda kept that d off Bledsoe yesterday. Your smoking pot if you do. Man, I know your a homer and all, vut comeon, join us in the real world and open your eyes, look at the state your team is in, you really think we coulda 1) held them to 21 points. 2) scored more then 21 points. I highly doubt either one.

I made the point that the WHOLE O line would have had to play better.
But you are full of crap if you think we would have been outclassed yesterday.

IF Flo stayed healthy ...

IF Al Johnson was the All-Pro everyone thought he was in TC ....

IF Julius Jones wasn't infected by the injury bug ...

IF Peerless Price was the same player he was 3 years ago ...

IF Drew Bledsoe had legs ...

IF our kickers could actually kick ....

Sounds good to me. Also sounds like ALOT of IF's.

Rivera would have had to have played like he did last year; same for Al.
With a healthy Flo the O line would have been good enough. Of course we need the kicker that we did not have. though the way the seattle kicker played yesterday that would have been a wash.

If ifs and buts were candies and nuts, then we would all have a merry Christmas.

Yeah really, Its pretty amusing, that fans seems to have short memory of how the season went. I am pretty sure, San Diego fans, Chiefs fans, Panthers fans and probably Giants/Skins fans could say the same. Heck probably Bears fans too. While we are at it, Bucs fans.

Yeah, if only the IFs and Buts were candies.....
