We did not get to the QB

Aside from that sack and a couple of hurries, the Cowboys D acted as if touching the QB was not allowed.
Look, Brunell is no spring chicken. He moves almost as slowly as Bledsoe.
Yet, he had LOTS of time to throw.
You can talk about penalties, the implosion of the O line as Vandergaght kicked, the dropped balls etc., but sometimes that consistently dogged the Dallas D was the inability to get to the QB.
Having said that, our run defense was superb. Their running offense did squat.
For that I am grateful.
But someday, Zimmer -- as much as I admire him and hope he is the next Dallas head coach -- needs to tinker to get the DEs to the QB to get more effective blitzes etc.
The opposing QB should not be off limits to our otherwise great defensive team up front.

The key to stopping any QB is collapsing the pocket and knocking them around.

Why not try this, what we are doing is not working.

When pressured, Brunell is know to throw it to the other team.

We made him look like a star by giving him time. If I were the DC yesterday we would have seen Campbell because Brunell would not have finished the game.
