We don’t know if this team is good, bad or ugly. We haven’t even seen them play yet. All the talking heads are questioning the offensive line. All the pundits are questioning the receivers. Are they right? They don’t know because this team hasn’t even played a game yet. Parcells said you don’t know who you are until Thanksgiving. I guarantee you that what everyone is saying now about the teams strengths and weaknesses will change by years end. So quit listening to these people saying the Cowboys have a great defensive line group or the Cowboys are weak on the offensive line. They don’t know. None of us do and we won’t until November.
My biggest concern and questions concern the offensive line.
And we can have some idea already because we are returning 4 starters.
So Tyler is the huge wildcard.
Will this group be a strength or weakness?
We will find out soon.

Stop saying US! YOU dont know. Dont include the rest of us in your confusion.

You actually have to see the Oline play to know that they arent good? Sorry, dont need to see it. It's the same oline as last year pretty much but without Tyron and with Tyler playing LT for the first time. Going up against the bucs, its not going to be pretty.

I also dont need to see the defense play to know they are going to be really good.

This isnt rocket science.

Those of us that know football can have a pretty good idea of what a team is before the games are played.
The only sure prediction I will make right now is I'm going to watch The Good,The Bad and the Ugly when I get off work today.

Well said!!!

Looking at how the rams played last night I think we al need to take a wait and see approach
After last night's game, Buffalo looks like the team to beat. Darn they looked good!

A year ago we were hoping for any kind of decent defense at all, and the offense would handle the rest.

Thats probably reversed itself by 100% since.

No one has any idea whats going to happen, and the past doesn't dictate the future as much as many think.

Every team gets talked about and of course know one knows anything, so what's your point here? Shut down the talk shows and message boards until November?

People enjoy talking and speculating about things that interest them. Why that seems to bother you so much I'll never understand.

Speaking from a logical point of view, if they come out trying to be all pass happy....as they have been in the recent past....they are likely going to struggle.

I'm certainly more confident in Tyler as a run blocker than in pass protection, and we also need to see how they play as a unit. McGovern at LG is of equal concern, considering Biadasz play went to hell when he was inserted last year.

We are going to find out what Moore is made of in the first six or so games of this season.

They will get the defensive stops, but if they want to continue to feature Dak as a pocket passer considering the hits to the pass protection and WR corps, it's not likely to be pretty.

I'm more excited by this defense than I have been in a very long time. I'm more ambivalent about this offense than I've been in a long time. You're right that we don't know for sure though. Educated guesses can be made.

On the contrary, what is Moore supposed to do? You act like these guys have some magic potion to combat a bad Oline. If there is bad run blocking, there wont be a run game. Nothing Moore can do about it. If there is no pass blocking, there will be an inconsistent, penalty, and sack stricken passing game.

ONLY reason we had a chance last year against the Bucs is because we didn't waste our time trying to establish the run. If we waste our time Sunday pissing away drives trying to establish the run, we will fall behind.

You're right, but it's about time we started to scheme to hide our deficiencies as other teams seem to do against us....especially if this guy is supposed to be some sort of 'genius' and/or considered as a HC.

If the OL is that bad, yeah....there isn't much that can be done.

But don't try to pull a Garrett (his mentor) and just 'do what you would do anyway,' because that's not gonna cut it.

They played in Atlanta with Green as if Tyron was still there. Gave him no help and had no shot at adjusting....that staff was that bad.

I'll believe we have something different when I see it.
