We got ourselves a Weapon.

Mafah has a little juice at times too
Exactly. That's the thing most don't realize about him. They assume because he's a large dude that he lacks top end speed. It's just false. He's about 6-2 weights just shy of 240. That's almost like Derrick Henry. He's not him but he's REALLY good. We got a good player.

Good to hear. Will have to check him out later.

Everyone recall the meltdown last year when Brooks was drafted by Carolina? We all thought he was a lock to be in Dallas. Well, what has he done? Lol. But fast forward to this draft . Look what we did today under Shotty. We grabbed 2 solid runners using late value picks, helping our team day 1. Yes, they are making the team. Can't wait for camp. We got some ***** Dawgs now. On both sides.

If any back can't pick up the blitz, then he is a gadget guy. I haven't watched all the backs this year, so I don't know. But if he can't stop a blitzing LB then Qb is out and team won't leave him in, and he is only a gadget guy...see Deuce who was an excellent college RB but can't hang in the NFL because he can't pick up the blitz, he gets trucked.

The knock on him is he's not really a guy you just feed the rock to too many times. He's a 12-14 carry a game player, at least right now.

But I agree. Not too many carries. He's like a Pollard 2.0. But you don't want to beat him up.

You can do a lot with him though
The team has built a large group of depth up and hope numbers include the upgrade.

The running backs group are at about where Philadelphia was when Andy Reid went to build a Championship team in Kansas City.

All you have to do is watch film on Jaydon Blue and you will be a believer in how he indeed does run between the tackles ,and excels at running between the tackles. In fact as I was watching film on Blue it shows him scoring 4 touchdowns in one game and 3 of them were him running between the tackles. The other score was on a receiving touchdown. This is great value in the 5th round pick 149.

I know he can. There are other football novices that say he can't.
Uh, yes he can. Especially behind guys like Booker. You just wait.

Got to admit that he does in some way remind me of Gibbs. Not saying he will produce like Gibbs, but his style does remind me.

The Cowboys could have him on the field A LOT if he also cross trains as the slot receiver.

Don't only remove weapons from the border, but in the school yard. Allow the work going on to reach the carpet for our Cowboys.

I will say towards the end of zeke's first run in Dallas, Dak was throwing the worst passes I've ever seen to him. It wasn't so much Zeke then it was Dak just couldn't throw the shorter passes. He would airmail em. The Blue pick will be dominant but Dak has gotta learn to chill out and throw relaxed accurate short passes. I've said this for like 5 years.
