Fans gonna be pleasantly surprised when Mafah tears it up. That's what he does.Mafah runs a 4.57. Derek Henry who would never be called slow , runs a 4.54!!
Let that sink in

I thought Tolbert was Batman.0 complaints about the pick. I think Blue will result in very good value for the 5th round. He can be a very good complimentary “Robin” type RB…the problem is we don’t have a Batman.
ThisWell it looks like Dallas has fixed the running back room, with both a bruiser and a speedster. I think both are good running backs that will compliment each others games and keep each player fresh through out the season.
The long speed on tape really stands out! Impressive! And he has some nifty feet too.Fans gonna be pleasantly surprised when Mafah tears it up. That's what he does.
Timb2 had a round 1 grade on Blue. This was a really good pick. He is like a poor man's Gibbs. Can benefit the offense in so many ways. I'm sure part of the plan is use him in the passing game and at least we have one other person to threaten the defense.
What would you think about using Blue in the slot some. Can you imagine a 3 receiver set with CeeDee Turpin and Blue that could be a challenge for a defense to deal with.I want to see him at running back of course but I think Blue would be lethal in the slot.Timb2 had a round 1 grade on Blue.
I’m a life long Longhorns fan as well and am shocked Blue was available in the 5th. Lots of teams are going to rue the day they passed on him. Most of us knew about Jayden Blue. In my heart, he was my favorite back. But I watch Texas football so I'm biased.
For me, Timb2 summed it up well. You're not looking for a pass blocker. You're looking for a playmaker.
He'll play both. He helps us do some WCO stuff, which they've been trying to do for a couple years now. Just haven't had the personnel. What would you think about using Blue in the slot some. Can you imagine a 3 receiver set with CeeDee Turpin and Blue that could be a challenge for a defense to deal with.I want to see him at running back of course but I think Blue would be lethal in the slot.
my only knock on him is his fumble rate. if he can fix that ala Tiki Barber we might have a dynamic play maker. Most of us knew about Jayden Blue. In my heart, he was my favorite back. But I watch Texas football so I'm biased.
