We will avenge Eagles and Skins losses when it really counts.
We win the division by beating Skins to win division by 1 game.

We have everyone right where we want them..... Away games.

#4 seed. Only 1 home game.

Probably won't happen. This team looks horrible.

Is it really?

I mean from a mathematical standpoint. I personally haven't crunched the different scenarios.

Please elaborate.

The NFC South Champion will be the 4th seed guaranteed. The 4th seed is the division winner with the worst record.

Us winning the division is still a realistic possibility for sure. Right now a lot of fans on here are down on the team- and rightfully so. But people seem to forget too quickly that this is very much an "any given Sunday" league anymore. Lots of football fans are singing the Eagles praises right now, but it was a completely different story 2 weeks ago. And it could very well be a completely different story 2 weeks from now.

Let's see us beat the Bears on Thursday, the Eagles lose to the Seahawks on Sunday, and we'll be right back to square one in 2 weeks- playing the Eagles with matching records for 1st in the East.

How is that?

If Dallas wins division with better record how does NFC south take 4th seed?

I thought about this today. Last season we won the first match up against the Eagles. But when it mattered the second time around, they won. Could it be the same way this time? I really think that having the 11 days of prep will make the difference the second time around. Hopefully, the Seahawks game will be a physical one and the Eagles take a beating.

At some point and time, you would think that the December woes will go away.....hope it is this year.

I don't put a lot of stock in short time to prepare.

We don't play out of our mind, like we REALLY want it. I liken it to boxers. So e guys get a fight on short notice and beat the heck out of opponent.

I agree, I hope December swoon turns into a cowboys rush (pun intended).

you are right on any given sunday but the last three years all they do Is lose and lose some more you have a home game to really make it possible to win the division an d go into the playoffs and you play like that. so no I don't trust this team at all

If we win the division we will be either the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd seed depending on our record and everyone else. The NFC south divisional winning team will be the 4th seed due to their record. The 5th and 6th seed go to the wild card teams, seeded based on record. The two lower seeded divisional teams host the first rd of the playoffs.

Understood.

I don't like it but maybe it's better all road games. I thought we could win Atleast one home game.

That's the way I'm looking at it.

NFC East leader has 9 wins. NFC South leader has 4 wins. There are 4 games left.
