Some may remember before the preseason, I made reference that Drew was better than Danny White. I got handled kind of roughly for that comment, but felt confident that he would show everyone how good he really is. I get to gloat now.

Drew is going to lead this team to great things before he is through. We have to recognize he is an elite NFL QB and start planning our offense around that fact. Yesterday we took a chance and came out throwing and put up a lot of points early. We just need to stay on this track.

This ain't no bus driver folks! This is the real deal!

Well, I don't know about him being better then Danny White but I'm sure glad he's here. He's a franchise Qb for sure and he's doing a great job for us. Its nice to see him audible at the LOS, stay clam in the pocket, make the right reads and with a accurate throw but most of all, run the team like a starting QB should. I luv his leadership anf fire.

Agreed.

Drew is indeed playing like the elite QB he was in New England in his early years, and I am thrilled for him and for us.

I wanna give some props to Big Bill tho, for not just understanding what Drew nees to thrive, but for providing it for him, just as he said he would. No other coach has been able to replicate the conditions, AND coach the flaws out of Drew's game so effectively. I am very hopeful this can continue to be the case, because Bill will continue to scheme to put Drew in advantageous position, if it means pass opening up run all freaking year.

Bill's built a much better bus. Whether it's the added protection of Rob and Marco, sitting Tucker and putting Dre at center rotation, or using more two te sets, getting Key to block his arse off, bringing in Price as insurance, Tuna has been about upgrading the whole darn offensive bus, and making it hum to Drew Bledsoe's tune.

The fact that Bledsoe is playing well above bus driver level is what may make the diff between being merely competitive and actually going places.

I expected Drew to carry the team while the D gelled, but if the D gets its act together fast - and yesterday indicated that MAY happen - who knows..it will be about much more than carrying, but an equal partnership of the two units.

Then watch out! A very wise man told me yesterday that beating the Eagles at home took the monkey off the team's back. But that beating them in Philly will take the gorilla off.

After yesterday, that ape may be in danger of extinction.

You are 100% on the money with your post. I as well am a charter member of the "Bring Bledsoe TO Dallas" club.

In fact, If you remember WAY back I recall a time when it was Nors and Myself holding up the banner saying SIGN BLEDSOE even before he was released.

Bledsoe is the REAL deal..He always has been and he is showing to anyone who doubted him exactly what he's made of.

Come on guys. Of course Drew is better than Danny White.

Drew has won two AFC championship games, played in a Super Bowl, he's a former #1 pick, he's thrown for over 40,000 yards. He is much more talented than Danny White ever was. I wouldn't have thought that was even debated.

Thanks, **..but I'm not the wise man who said it.

I'm just repeating it.

Hint, the very wise man resides here at the Zone.

Drew just may have revitalized his career in a new conference (NFC), facing some new foes. The guy wants to win and knows how to do it, unlike a few other QBs in Dallas in the recent past.

and he does have at least limited scrambling ability, he ran once for like 9 yards when left with a hole, he can move around a little, he does not seem to get rattled either, unlike some of our other qbs like Quincy, oh yeah and for your folks calling for Vinny as back up, you were probably right, he can still play and would make a good one, anybody that can go from the couch to playing in a week or two still has potential at least as a back up...

No one seems to want to come forward and admit they were against Bledsoe. I know who they are, I battled them all preseason, and I took names.

I said I would feed them crow and they ridiculed me. Well here are the names:

M....

No nevermind. In fact, I am tearing up the paper.....there. There is no reason to even bring it up. They know who they are. But now is a time for everyone to come together and just be happy that Bledsoe is playing like an MVP, even on televisions in the state of NY, where the experts live (I had to).

By the way, McNabb was being touted as the NFL MVP favorite going into the game, should Bledsoe now be touted that way? If not, why not. Compare them and then add head to head contest.

I said in another topic that Bledsoe can be our QB for another 3 years until we find our young QB of the future. The key is protection because if you do he's as dangerous as any QB

if you design a offense around Henson's talent, give him all day

to find the open receiver, call plays advantageous to his play,

he to would look like an all-pro. But i guess only Q and DB

can have that...This is the perfect year to be playin' Henson.

Look how much 1 yr of playin time helped Eli. Alex Smith is goin'

thru his lumps now...but our Dumb*** coach doesn't have a clue

IMO we won this game because BP took his hands off the Offense

and Defense. Jerry Jones will not let this team slip back in his conservative

hands....if he does he will demand Henson play this year. Remember

Big Bill was the one begging for a job, not Jerry begging for a coach.

JMO? Your right Just Your Opinion. I don't think anyone else would have that opinion. Thinking that Henson could play as well as Bledsoe is........ :(

Hey FD I'll be a man and admit something. I know I wasn't on your list b/c i wasn't against signing Bledsoe, rather, I was worried about signing Bledsoe. I had of course seen where his career had spiraled a little south and in Buffalo how much damage had been done in those 140 sacks, and was really scared if he could be effective behind our porous line of last year. I never doubted his ability more doubting our ability to protect him. After all is said and done though i thought hes was a vast improvement over Vinny so was in favor of signing for that reason :)

um..... wait until Beldsoe pulls a post season come from behind victory before you gloat there. Or how about even a full season? Im not saying I disagree but isnt it a little early for gloating, its 5 games. White started for
7 years.
