As many mistakes as we made and had no business being close in that game we were literally an inch or two away from beating arguably the best team in the NFL right now. The only reason we have a rough start is we've played 4 games against division leaders in our first 6 games. Nobody will have a winning record against that. We have a good shot at winning the East folks. I'm encouraged by today. Just need to clean up the many mistakes we make. That's really on the players to do though. Most of the mistakes made today were just poor execution by the players.

Bad teams make stupid mistakes and get beat. No bull **** moral victories. We're a sub .500 team. End of story.

I thought that was a heck off a game, and a game of inches at the end!

We really do....

We just lack the mental part. We stopped with the BS penalties....We show heart, Aggression ect....

We just have to stop the mistakes, and mental shortcomings

If we didn't have Garrett I'd see us 10+ wins. But this idiot can't coach a pee wee football team.

We do not have a good team.

I've got to disagree. This is a veteran group that's been playing together for years now. There's absolutely no excuse for the number of mistakes this team makes on a weekly basis.

This isn't just a one off fluke; we do this week after week, and we've been doing it for years now.

I don't see us as having a good team. How can we watch this team do the same stupid things over and over again and think we have a good team?

Agreed.

I think this team is unfortunately a 7-9 or 8-8 team.

Mediocre.

We need an upgrade at RB depth and OL to say the least. Somehow we need our WRs to become more consistent (Dez, Ogletree).

We couldn't close with Parcells, we couldn't close with Phillips, and now we can't close with Garrett.

We're always asking whether the blame lies with the coaches or the players; I think it's fair to answer that the right answer is "both".

how many times can this be said.

It's getting old.

Romo 9 pics in the last 2 home games. The guy just does not know how to protect the ball

This has literally been said for multiple seasons now.

I know a lot of stuff is slight exaggeration but this has literally been said for multiple seasons.

Yeah, there's just a cancer of mental ineptitude that trumps any talent we have. It makes watching this team play require quarts of pepto bismol.

exactly; the bottom line is that we don't get it done in crunch time. the giants had absolutely nothing today...

Not giving the ball to the opposition is part of being a good team.

You could have Vince Lombardi coaching this team the first half of this season they aren't winning more than 4 or 5 games either way. I said going into the season that 4 wins is about what you would expect. We have Atlanta who is the best team in the NFL right now and Philly left. And are real close to beating both Baltimore and sweeping New York. We could easily be 6-2. We had some missing players on defense that really hurt us early in the season. But since the Baltimore game we've played a lot better on defense. And the offense still makes mistakes and we obviously miss DeMarco. Win one of the next 2 and we got a shot at winning the East.
