We have all the reason in the world to be confident

Re: Bears game. The beating in their crib? You honestly think our defense will stop Forte, Marshall, and Jefferey? If we win ill guarantee it won't be a beating.

I'm also not sure how people can belittle the Eagles wins while celebrating ours? We struggled against the Vikings for crying out loud. And have the absolute worst defense in the league paired with a wildly inconsistent offense.

With all due respect to the OP, I hope you're right. I've seen it go bad fast with the Cowboys late in the year. Until they show me they are for real, I'll have my doubts.

The Bears game looks the toughest. The Packers without Rodgers are a shell of themselves. The Commanders might rally the troops for Dallas but they're making golf reservations right now. Their season is over. The Eagles game is at least at home.

Yeah, Eagles on the last game will be the toughest game of all this year.

I would not be so quick to pencil in a cold weather game against Jay Cutler, who always seems to reserve his better games for Dallas. I would not be surprised at all if Dallas drops that game, with Chicago needing all the wins it can get. The Cowboys still don't have a win against a winning team on their resume yet, assuming Chicago can survive Peterson today.

So we barely beat the team that barely beat the Bears today. I like our chances next week. We haven't forgotten the way Cutler displayd his amusement at what was done to our defense last year. These guys will take this game personally. Add the fact that Jay.. oh I mean Jeremiah.. will be on the other side of the ball. We're going to get physical with the Bears.

I still don't think we beat a team over 500. Too many missing pieces on defense

We're going to beat whoever they put in front of us. Above .500 or not... I still don't buy into the "can't be at a team above .500" argument. It's about getting better every week and right now the Boys are doing just that.

The way the eagles have been playing and the way we've been playing im not very confident.

I would be less confident if we had to go to the Linc to play in late December. We'll be ready and it will be a game for the ages. I really like our chances in an offensive battle at home in front of our crowd. Last game of the regular season.. A fired up home crowd.. It's going to be a special day in Big D. Neither team scores more than 35 and we'll probably win by less than 7.

Sucks that Philly gets Det and Chi at home and the road game is at Minn :(

It looks like week 17 is for all the marbles, no way we clinch before then by comparing the remaining games. Our last tough game is at CHI but the others should be wins, puts us at 9-6 going into the last game and the Eagles should be 9-6 as well. If they beat Detroit at home, well....it will not be good.

Minnesota has been surprising teams as of late. I wouldn't call it peaking but they're playing their best ball of the year right now. They could easily upset Philly.

I actually think the Cowboys lose to the Bears but close the season out 3 in a row and 10-6. Cowboys stink against the Bears for whatever reason.

We beat the Vikings. The Vikings beat a solid Bears team today. What does that mean? Mostly nothing... Yes. Teams tend to remember things. I'm sure you remember how chummy they were last year when they did us in our crib. It's time for payback. Romo won't be throwing 5 INTs this time and practically handing the game to those chumps.

The Bears just lost to the Vikings. The Vikings lost to the Cowboys. That must mean the Cowboys are going to beat the Bears!

People need to stop pointing at individual games when comparing teams.

It's not the game I care about. It's the match up. The Bears offense is explosive and our defense is a joke. The Vikings game was only mentioned as an example of how we struggle against bad teams.

I can agree with that. I'm picking the Bears this week for sure. The Packers and Commanders are very winnable. Who the heck knows about the finale? I still find it hard to believe Nick friggin Foles is a legit QB.

Its about the only way to truely guage things. Not exactly a perfect method but its not the most flawed.

The fact that the Bears lost to the Vikings today only strengthens my belief they'll win next Monday night.

It's an up and down league.

The Cowboys have to be on their "A" game every week if they want to reach the playoffs. The Bears may have a good offense but their defense is bad and I trust Romo more than I fear McCown.

How often do we get to play on the big stage? Usually we come up short on that stage. I think there are a number of variables that can easily help make the argument that we come up big Monday night. Getting Lee back is going to be a huge boost to our defense. Not just physically but emotionally as well.
