We have arrived in Denver

II guess I should have been more direct Is it the altitude much much worse up at the top of a mountain in ski resorts as it is down on a football field I'm sure there's a pretty big difference are they playing in a mountain I don't think they're playing in the mountains Even though it's all high altitude I'm pretty sure where we snowboard is a lot higher altitude. like crested butte, Keystone and Breck? I'm just curious i'm pretty sure it might even itself out with the moderate exercise up in the mountains versus playing football down on the football field..
Skiing is moderate exercise unless you are carrying your skis uphill to the top :muttley:

But, the altitude does effect people differently. Even extremely healthy people can suffer. It never really affected me, only played baseball up there though.

There is only about a 1-2% difference in effective oxygen level between Keystone and Denver even though Keystone is almost twice the altitude. Basically, there is minimal difference. Some people will be affected just the same at both places.

How's the air up there is it really as tough as they say it is???
Well, since we are in Denver, ITS ok. But we skied in Brechenridge, and that elevation was BRUTAL for ne for 1 day. I was only 25 back then and in great shape, but going up one flight if stairs had me bent over sticking for air. It didn't do the same to my wife.

So, does it impact you? Some, but after a day, its all good. In the mountains? That's a different level.

Life is too short to sit at home. My daughter always goes with me.i almost lost my wife 3 weeks ago to a blood clot out of nowhere, so we live for today.
3 weeks ago? Oh man, I'm sorry for your loss!

Have fun. I looked into tickets but $400 each for nosebleeds was way to much. That's five rounds of golf.

Also, be mindful. Bronco fans can be worse than Raider fan.
My first game was at Veterans Stadium in Philly ..... and i went by myself. I went to the LA coliseum in 1992 against the Raiders, and I've been to Metlife against the Giants. No way is Denver tougher than those plays.

Last time I went to a Cowboys game here in Denver I had some Bronco fans insulting me through the whole first half. I finally said something at halftime, they got pissed and wanted to fight. There was large contignent of 'boys fans in the next section and a couple came over and I think the others called security because they showed up. The Broncos fans left shortly after.

I have seen beers thrown on visiting fans and heard some pretty vile stuff so I really have little respect for the fans here.

..you know, John Denver was a cowboy. So take that.

Arrived at 830 from ca. Took the train from the airport to downtown for 10 bucks. Early checknin at the Marriott. Just say down for breakfast.

Its sunny, clear skys, probably a crisp 47 degrees, but supposed to get up to 70. Perfect weekend for my first game at this stadium. Been to Denver dozens of times, but never for a game.

We love Seattle, new Orleans and Chicago for an away game. Let's see if Denver lives up to the hype. Ill report back.
Dude have fun, cheer loud for us

Go push their fan mascot in the barrel. Bet he just rolls down the stadium stairs unable to get up.

No. I go to Colorado for ski trip every year and Denver isn't bad at all. Denver is only around 5K feet above sea level. Once you get closer to the resorts which are about 8-12K feet above sea level, that's when you start to feel it.
