We have better football ahead of us

You’re barking up the wrong tree. This is not a Dak thread.
Sure it is, if you include the entire quote that you purposely omitted. Kirk Cousins is superior to Tad's brother. That's what Jerry implied.

Ruff-Ruff!

Hatertroll is an unfortunate genetic cross-breeding of a scientific experiment gone wrong.

Remember The Fly with Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis?

Same thing.

Moral of the story? Stay away from Jeff Goldblum.

The "new" offense is an old offense, and it has both an upside and a ceiling.
It has an upside in that, at least for a while, Dak's running will add a dimension that will produce points. However, this offense also has a ceiling in that defenses will scheme for this, and Dak will take punishment as his mobility diminishes from the hits he will take.
And Dak is not accurate enough to run and pass.
This is the offense from 2016, except that we don't have a young and potent Ezekiel Elliott to distract defenses from Dak.
But this is Dak's forte; at college he ran a mobile offense and is comfortable doing so. However, he struggles when he has to pass in this type of offense against good teams.
This is the only difference between Dak and Jalen Hurts. Hurts is accurrate, and can pass when he has limited mobility.
Dak can't.

This new offense is apparently taking time for the offense to get use to. I expect to see better play from the offense going forward getting better and better as the year goes on. The OL hasn’t played together for a couple of years now. They need time to gel.

As for the defense they came out the gates firing on all cylinders but have regressed as of late. Quinn is too good of a DC to let this continue.

The team is surely hearing the soft talk. Will they man up and take responsibility and do something about it? I think they will.

Many have given up. I admit after the Niners game I came close. But I think the team has the talent. They just need to clean up the penalties and learn how to play under this new offense.
I appreciate the optimism. Lets hope you're right. I've given up, unfortunately.

We aren’t good enough at the moment, but you have to believe the potential is there to get better, and hope for exactly that.

Otherwise what’s the point….being able to say ‘see I told you they would lose again?’

Many things have to go right, probably too many, but it’s not impossible.

If it's the Cowboys offense, it is about Dak. You can't discuss the offense without discussing the quarterback.
I know you're calling your buddies in for help, but you should grow up.
WTH are you talking about?

Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak, Dak! He owns you.

I think it's the other way around. Real fans like me are the footsteps he's hearing.

I haven't given up. I just want Jerry to do something to move the needle. I want him to get a back to fix a glaring need we have. I'd like Derrick Henry, but I'd take Fournette too. I just want something to fix our major weakness.

The potential is definitely there for this team to succeed...

I hope you’re right, because as of right now I have pretty much resigned myself to a divisional round loss being the most likely outcome for this season.

We’ve seen the Cowboys peak in the first half of the season many times only to flame out in the end. Hopefully they can invert that trend this year.
