I wouldn't bank on anything come playoff time. The Bucs or 49ers could realistically beat both our teams so wouldn't be too confident. Heck, the Lions, Cardinals, Colts, even the Jaguars were close to beating the Eagles. There's a lot of paridy in the NFL and I don't think anyone should take any playoff team for granted. Philadelphia fans should understand that with the surprising run the Phillies had. Most assumed it would be an early exit.

And that was the point of this thread. We had what seemed like 75% of this board saying we are done, we are horrible after a 3 point road overtime loss last week. The reality is any team in this league can win on any day and that has NEVER been more true. Our team is good. PERIOD. Most of you know I have been a big critic of Dak..... but damn he played great yesterday.

With the current state of the NFC, yea, sorry board downers, we are the favorites.... at least in my mind. Ive watched almost every Eagals game this year and sorry, they are not nearly as dominant as people try to make them out to be. Like I said... they could EASILY have 4 losses. They are 9-1 and you are what your record says you are... and the Vikes were 8-1 until yesterday.

The Eagles could easily have 4 losses this year. WE need to stay healthy.

NOW, can some of you finally learn how football works? Teams can lose games. Teams can look bad in one week.... it doesnt mean the season is over. This is the NFL under the salary cap. The Lions kicked the Giants butts today. The Eagles barely got by the Colts. There is a lot of football left.

that GB loss sealed that.. they are beatable for sure but they have huge lead in the east right now..if they lost yesterday, sure, they found way to win..9-1 is 9-1..lots of time left but still i have serious doubts we catch them for the division.

just keep in mind thy play brand of offense that is our kryptonite, last night's win with an unwilling team who would run the ball early, often and never stop no matter the score, well the eagles, giants and Washington are willing to do that. The eagles in fact exposed the blueprint for our defensne..

so i saw nothing last night to change that narrative, YET. NYG will test that run D all game Thursday.

The Iggles were up by 3 against us with 7 minutes left in the game even with Cooper Rush throwing 3 picks. Again.... you really think they are better than the Cowboys?

Speaking of Eagles, this team sort of reminds me of those Andy Reid, Jim Johnson, Donovan McNabb Eagles. Especially if Kellen has woken up and realize how much he can use Pollard in the passing game, similar to Westbrook. Dak similar to McNabb, can run when needed, not always accurate, good enough to win — average receiver unit. (Until TO was signed). High pressure, low points defense, safeties critical. Maybe more running than passing, but if Kellen insists on throwing so much, do it like yesterday, more WCO style like those Eagles.

Exactly right, WE are as talented as any NFC team, and can beat any of them if WE play up to capabilities. There are 5-6 teams that can come out of the NFC. Bills and Chiefs are a different story, but won't see them until the SB anyway.

some of thats true but really its dont get into passing situaiaions , so run 40 times and you have a chance against us, and the bears nearly came back in the first half, you forget that, GB did come back..

ALL Im saying is, when teams stay out of obvious passing situations our D is still vulnerable. lucky our offense is clicking far more often now then with Rush. so, we can score points , get leads, and put MOST teams in passing situations. crazy thing is, those willing to buck trends and not pass while down can make games for us much harder to win.

Yes, we beat the bears but lost to the eagles and GB so i see it as blueprint until we play team that does that, and we win ie the eagles2.

If we beat NY we have 3 winnable games after until the eagles game.., could be giant game for us against the eagles IF somehow, we end up 10-3 and they are, 12-1 or 11-2. it will make that game bigger then the eagles had hoped starting 8-0 and beating us in game 1

lots of ball to play before then, i don't want to cheat myself out of a short football season., want to enjoy them all. so let focus on NY..
