It was nothing but orange yesterday. You could hear "Broncos" being chanted. You could hear cheers after the Broncos scored, stopped us, or made a nice play. You could hear cheers whenever we got penalties called on us.

This stadium is an attraction for people to look at and tour more than it's the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Why can't we have a place like Seattle or KC? Why does our away games feel more like home games?

Dallas fans are the whiniest. Of course a better product will attract a better crowd, but other teams fans aren't leaving the game early.

Go back to Texas Stadium. The real shrills for Dallas will come out. Hell, I'd be one of them at least every couple of years. F the new Jerry World.

You build a stadium for the "elevated" fan base and you basically lose the folks who brought the noise. I view Dallas fans who attend the game as the people who attend the Kentuky Derby with the ridiculous hats and the hand clapping. I suppose if that is what you want to attract great.

I think the Dallas-Fort Worth area population is quite transient. There are transplants from all over the country and world. Some remain fans of their previous city. Some take interest in the Cowboys. The stadium is a huge draw for traveling fan bases. Recovering season ticket costs is top of mind to many. With 100,000 seats it’s hard to pack it out with diehard Cowboy fans. I’ve always likened the local Cowboys fans to the local Atlanta Braves fans.

Why would other teams fans leave early when they're stomping your butt 30-0 midway through the 4th quarter?
My answer would get me banned. All I know is some stadiums I used to attend stay regardless of the score.

We’re 3-1 at home. The reason there’s so many visiting fans in our stayjum is because it houses 100k fans. Jerry’s greed makes our stayjum easy to fill with visiting fans.

It's a business. Winning football games is, and always has been, secondary to making money for the Jones.

That’s cause Texas too laid back and they sell tickets off fast and easy. Too much money to pass up and an afc team that comes here is always gonna travel well especially Denver. They had around 30-40% of the stadium yesterday

This is a stupid thread. Dallas fans are loud when they are playing ok. The fans had absolutely zero to cheer about yesterday. Quit blaming ancillary factors when the team just played like crap.

I can only give a long distant fan perspective from what I see on TV, but there have been many many times I have seen crowd shots (Not just this game) where the opposing team is down near the goal line and the crowd seems to be kind of loud, but there are so many Cowboys fans just sitting there doing nothing. Not standing, not cheering, nothing.
I get to a lot of games at Lambeau Field and the fans there are 100% into the game start to finish. If the opposing team is down near the goal line, every single person is standing and making noise.

Just my perspective from a distance and I generally see a pretty apathetic crowd at AT&T. Maybe in person it's different.

Some teams have a very strong home field advantage because no one wants to travel to that city. Weather, crime, stadium conditions, and high prices keeps some fans away.

Been saying this for years. Jerry has made cowboy tickets so expensive most can't afford to take their family. The PSL's go mostly to corporations who end up reselling them or giving them out as junkets to clients who cash them in on the secondary market. So, inside you get this weird mix of cowboy fans, opposing team fans , and neutrals just there to see and be seen. The only exception are playoff games where cowboy fans from around the country will descend on the stadium.

There is no atmosphere outside the stadium either. The tailgating scene is a joke. With a fanbase as large as the cowboys, that parking lot should be rocking for games. But Jerry keeps the lots closed until a few hours before game time. I don't think he wants a passionate fan base at games.

I'd rather play in a big back yard versus Jerry's play pen. I hate this new stadium. It doesn't even feel like a home field stadium at all for Dallas. If it collapsed under under it's own weight with no one in it of course. I would care less. When we have a home game it might as well be on the road, And I think the players feel the same way by how bad we usually play at so called home.

Those Bronco fans will be watching the Cowboys play in LA in February. I ain't concerned. LOL :flagwave:

You think this kind of thing happens in Philly? It's why there was a jail in their stadium for so long.

I agree. I am in Toronto and before they built the Air Canada Center. Maple Leaf Gardens was the home of real LEAF fans. Now you go to a game and people are conducting business meetings. I remember vividly my first leaf game at the new stadium I was cheering a fight and was told to be quiet by 2 guys in front of me in suits having a meeting. I told them to take their meeting to a coffee shop where it belonged. They shut up rather quickly.

There is more money in catering to the wine and cheese crowd, than the beer and hotdog crowd. In Jerry's case follow the money.
