We Have To Move On

It was a heartbreaking loss. I was concerned going in while many thought this game was a lock. I was not surprised by the result...disappointed...of course! We continue to leave our opponents in the game. We must develop a killer instinct as the year goes on.

We looked flat on offense like teams do after a MNF game going on the road and Denvers #1 defense played well in the toughest venue in the NFL like I have been saying all week.

I predicted 3-2 at the bye which still looks obtainable and put us on course for a 10-6 playoff year. 4 out of 6 of our next games are against below .500 teams.

7-4 going into December. Hate to predict that month yet but 3-2 maybe.

Now, as i stated earlier this week...a loss today makes next Sunday a must win. 2-3 is NOT in position to make the playoffs but did anybody else see the Chief game today.

I'm usually not the ultimate optimist but for the 1st time this year...I will predict a win in KC.

So far we have lost to perhaps 2 division winners coming down to the last play of the game even with all the turnovers. It's far from over people. This is the NFL. 2 losses doesn't knock you out of the Bowl series....LOL

If Felix isn't playing and Barber continues to be a gimp, I have a hard time seeing this team going into KC and winning.

We will not develop a killer instinct, get over it.

After a gut wrenching defeat to the Seahawks we rebounded in 2007, going 13-3. We lost to the Giants because we lacked "Killer Instinct"

In 08, we dropped.... god I'm not even going to bother. I'll let you figure this one out. NY,BAL on and on...

In 09? Yeah, same thing. It won't change.

KC is perhaps the worst team in the AFC right now. If we don't have confidence this week, then we might as well start playing for a high draft pick next year. Oops...did we trade it.

If there ever was a game we can predict a win this year...this is it.

Keep your emergency life vest handy for the next five or six days. There will be some who will want to pull you under as they drown in their own self-imposed misery as they [strike]incessantly[/strike] post for the majority of the week. Stay prepared.

KC is still an NFL team and that place can get crazy. There's no one on this offense that gives DC's nightmares. Load the box and take away Witten.

I fully believe that some of these guys aren't in it to win it. Fully, fully confident that the only thing they're concerned with is a paycheck. No big deal, whiff on a tackle, lose the game. Go home and rest easy because I'll be driving to practice in a car that costs more than your house / car / boat combined.

We don't need these kinds of guys. They don't lay it all out on the field for the team. They play like fragile little kittens who don't want to be hurt because they got a dime piece back at home they've recently slid a grand to to sleep with them. They gotta be able to perform in the clutch, you know?

Big assumption, or possibly fact? You decide.

At this point I have ZERO hope of this team making the playoffs.

Of course as always...on any given day. I give Chiefs little chance of winning few if any games this year. We have shown we can beat winless teams....just the undefeated ones we have a problem with so far.

Nope, instead of getting torn a new one, they merely had their existing one penetrated time and again.

My prediction is on course for 3-2 at the bye. Both losses were the ones I predicted. Lucky perhaps but this middle of the road team can beat the poor ones and give the better ones a run for their money...until December anyway.

But the 10-6 and wild card I predicted may be in jeopardy... with 11-5 possibly the cut off.

No reason to throw in the towel just yet. It's barely October. Championships are won after Turkey day if your still in it.

No worries. I've been following this team since 1965. I'm a realist and an advocate for a change at the top but I thought I would start out with an upbeat post before I move in for the kill...LOL
