The worst part to me about the end of football is when we get eliminated and then we have to deal with football continuing on without the Cowboys playing. The three 8-8 years we were eliminated in the last game of the regular season and we all had to put up with watching other teams in the playoffs playing meaningful football games. The misery is not over until the moment the SB is over and the "next season" officially begins. Last year we had a good run cut short by the Dez catch/no catch but at least we were able to enjoy meaningful playoff football with our Cowboys in it and only had to deal with 2 weeks of Cowboyless playoff football. If we lose this game against the Eagles, I'm afraid that for all intents and purposes we will be done for. And this means it will be the longest stretch of meaningless football we have had to endure in a LONG time. Please, football gods, for the sake of enhancing my Sundays this fall and winter, for the sake of having something to look forward to on Thanksgiving beyond family, food, and beer, PLEASE let us win this one damn game this Sunday right here.

I can't believe we are even entertaining the prospect of losing six in a row.

It's only happened three times in the history of the organization.

That should tell you - it's actually hard to do, even with a really bad team.

It's bizarre. And as bad as this Eagles team is, they're coming off a bye. It sucks.

Yes, but at the very least, we should get some payback for Romo. Watching the expression on Bradford's face as Hardy and Gregory make a wish with his torso should be must-see tv. See, survival instinct -- I can't dream big right now, so I'll just make my dreams smaller for the time being.

And the best part is, if they turn around and crush our QB, who cares? LOL.

That's one thing that crossed my mind. All this frustration from the last 5 weeks....it all can be vented at the Eagles finally. And it's in Dallas. I'd love to see this defense just explode, finally.

Precisely. And those were three worst teams in the history of the franchise (in terms of winning percentage).

This team is nowhere near that bad, even without Romo.
