I think we all agree that Proctor cant block worth a darn. So, how come we arent looking at these guys, especially since we lost Brewster?

Cory Withrow-C- Rams Jul. 28 - 2:12 pm et

The Seahawks worked out free agent OLs Cory Withrow and Grey Ruegamer on Tuesday.

Withrow is mostly a center, while Ruegamer can play all three interior line spots. This may indicate Seattle is concerned with G Mike Wahle (shoulder).

I thought Reugamer did a decent job in the little I saw of him with the Giants but I'm not sure how old he is. But since Procter is a throwaway, anything is an upgrade.

Never heard of Withrow. But Ruegamer is just a journeyman who is not suited for the power blocking scheme that Houck runs. Think Cory Proctor, with less athleticism.

Ruegamer is also 33, and has never distinguished himself at either center or guard, even though he does have postseason experience and rings w/both the Pats & Giants (primarily as a bench player though).
