When Jerry finally realizes that there are other tools in the toolbox beyond the draft. We could have drafted any combination of players posters on this site wanted and it wouldn’t likely result in a championship or playoff success.

I really like our picks and think they will help us be regular season competitive moving forward. But until we use all of the tools available to field the most competitive team, our ceiling will likely continue to be early playoff exits.

This might be a little overstated but I do agree the pick was a surprise. Booker was graded mid to late first round and by many an early 2nd round pick. I see a lot of people talking about him like he is going to step in and bulldoze NFL DTs. I don't see that happening. Look at Guyton last year. He looked weak and unprepared for the speed of NFL players. I think Booker is going to struggle at first with the strength of NFL DTs.

Graded by whom? Internet pundits? Most had tet falling to bottom of first and 2nd round. They had sanders as top 20 or top 5...

What guards did they have? What guards were you ok with looking across from Jalen Carter and Dexter Lawrence and not piss down their leg? I like Brock Hoffman but he’s a prime example of someone you would want to be your backup and strengthen your unit.

my opinion is that stopping the run and protecting the QBs blindside are of higher need than OG play.
And Hoffman, Bass or any of the other 3 new FA along with new OL coaching are more than enough to get the job done.
