We literally do not have a running back

- Jon Machota had us double dipping at RBs in the very late rounds particularly the 5th round .. basically that's adding a RB .. just for the sake of adding one. (sigh)

-.Otherwise look for " Post-draft" veteran FA running backs - Nick Chubbs,.. JK Dobbins ...CAm Akers ...D'onte Foreman ...etc.

- Or a late round (conditional ?) 2026 trade for a vet back ...( Breece Hall ?)
I could see the Jags trading travis etienne for a 5 or a 6th

All our championship teams had great backs but despite our running game woes we continue to try and have success with average backs.

If you're not building toward a super bowl, then what good are these "good players"?
A necessary entailment of drafting good players is that teams are simultaneously building towards a SB. Obviously, those aren’t mutually exclusive goals.

Stop worrying about RB or WR. The Cowboys roster has been garbage at some positions and depth. We are not going to turn that around in one draft.
There was not a RB or WR on the board that the Cowboys valued more than the three guys they chose. Build the OL first. Take the best players. Hope you can get your roster to the point where maybe you can then target certain positions.

We let our best running back walk and he wasn't even that good...
You're right, he wasn't that good. Some will say "but he had over a thousand yards and averaged 4.6 per carry"!.
And I say 1,000 yards a season is not the hallmark it once was.
And with 235 carries he had only 2 runs over 20 yards.
THAT doesn't make it.

RB...Committee of the average. Dak or BUST season once again. No defense. One receiver.. I'd even say tightened is "iffy" also...But Jerry will sell it as the best draft in Dallas history...

OK. So who had him in the top 15 as you wrote ?

I cant believe you couldnt find a lower grade. PFF Had him at 48. Just another 20 sec. search: https://www.pff.com/draft/big-board?season=2025

You dont research much do you ? Makes your comments look like to be taken with a grain of salt.

BWT Bleacher had him at 32 not 33. Still they projected him into the 2nd round.
Show me where I said he was in the top 15.

Speaking of somebody who's comments that need to be taken with a grain of salt...

Sorry that was shannon1.

I replied to his post and you replied to my answer. Thought it was the same guy. You are right my bad.

But that still doesnt break my point. The research comment wasnt about that "15 " statement. It was because you wrote you could not find him lower. And that is a surprise just because PFF is some site that is very well known and i would say one of the first sites i would check. Also not some source only insiders know or use.

Thats why i made this comment and i am still not convinced by your skills.

I don't give a damn what you think of my "skills". I looked for about 30 seconds. That's what came up on the initial search. You asked who had him ranked high, I found some. Didn't care enough to do a deep dive. Still don't.

The man is not Tony. The man is not Emmitt. The man is not zeke. The man is not a number 1 franchise back. Hampton would have been.
