Well hopefully they build off of this and don't crumble. The pressure is really on next season, and it won't be any easier for them to end up in a similar position.

Probably.

On the other hand Seattle gave up 348 yards and 17 points to a horrendous Carolina offense on Saturday.

Seahawks deserve every bit of the 7 points Vegas is giving them, however, nothing would shock me.

If anything, I really question the Packer's resolve to run the ball. From my perspective Lacy looks terribly underutilized. The Packers have fallen into the trap of relying too much on Rodgers.

I wouldn't read too much into that 348. The Panthers really posed no threat to the Seahawks. That was more a function of Cam's scrambling ability and a bend-but-don't-break mentality.

As for the Packers' reluctance to run Lacy, it depends on the team. Honestly, I think the Packers discovered pretty much after the first couple of series that the Cowboys pass rush wasn't going to get to Rodgers. I mean, if we're not going to get to him, why NOT pass?

The Seahawks won't be like that. The Packers, if they want to win and keep Rodgers out of harm's way as much as possible, will be forced to rely more on Lacy.

And if they do rely on Rodgers, you're going to see what a more talented Dallas defense should have done to a quarterback playing on virtually one leg.

If I remember correctly GB got jobbed a few years ago in Seattle.

They've already lost big this year there with a healthy AR.

It's going to be ugly I think for the Pack.

He was very supportive of how much the team has improved, and that they will be a factor going forward.

It's as open a display of " true support" as I have seen from him in a long time. Sitting there with former Giants, Raiders. Pittsburgh greats, and SB winners, you know he was telling them " How Bout Them Cowboys" in his own way...

The one that seemed the most peeved by the call was Howie Long...

Lost in all of this is that the ref who made the " catch " call was unobstructed, saw the whole play, and was made to look incompetent due to this reversal....

yep kinda overlooked in all this dude probably five feet away. I thought thecalvin johnson catch was good too.
its entirely possible rodgers turns right around and leads them on a game winning td drive, guess making the loss easier for me

Agree that our D left a lot to be desired, but also would have like to have had that opportunity.
