From the article:

"Elliott getting only 22 carries against a Packers defense unable to stop him was practically criminal. If he’d had 30, that defense might have collapsed unto itself. Instead, the Cowboys passed eight more times than they ran, a situation brought on by the deficit but exacerbated by a lack of guts and imagination. Prescott was great, Dez Bryant played one of his best games, and the Packers corners couldn’t hang. But Zeke was the force behind all of it. Once the ball was taken out of his hands, Green Bay’s defense stiffened."

Yep. This was a horribly called game by our coaching staff.

Theres good news and bad news. Good news, Dallas neutralized the best RB in the league, the bad news is HE WAS ON OUR TEAM.

Slow start is what killed us... Penalties and a bit of "rookie nerves" in the 1st quarter... Not sure a week of was a good thing either... Dak came back and had a great game but we left points early...

Every Dallas possession after GB's first touchdown, began with the Cowboys trailing on the scoreboard. Even when the game was tied, the Packers had the ball.

We spotted them 21 points. You can't do that an expect to win.

Yep. That didn't even work for the 90s Cowboys dynasty teams (see 1994 season NFCCG).

You simply cannot give up that many points early and expect to win in the playoffs.

Terrible slow start. First drive 3rd and 2 and we go for a long pass. Comeon man, Zeke gets that first down and extends the drive for a TD. Momentum has been set

Good play by GB...they were ready for it and jumped the pass...combined with no need to do it at that point since it was something like 2nd and 2...we were outcoached on that one as far as I'm concerned.

It will never come out because it would be throwing your QB under the bus, but I wonder if that was a run/pass option and Dak just chose the wrong option.

and extends that drive for possibly another 5 minutes........keeping Rogers off the feild was the key discussed long and hard, had to be discussed by coaches.......and yet 1st opportunity they leave it on the road behind them.....

The FoxSports article was spot on. The coaches get paid millions of dollars. They should know every situation and scenario at the end of the game. Garrett should have known you play to win the game but you also have to be smart enough to not leave anytime on the clock. You win with a TD or kick the FG & go into OT. That should've been firmly going through that Garrett-top brain of his. It still amazes me how the last minute played out yesterday. Absolutely armature clock management BS......
