I think we CAN we this game folks... I like our defense - who are due to pitch a shutout and rebound back to form - v.s their offense - Nobody scares me, not even Smith ...after Newman's disgrace in Washington he should be ready to play this game and redeem himself.

I think we can hang in this game and be there to win it in the 4th Qtr....and Delhome, despite the ProBowl is not what he was in their Super Bowl year....

If Parcells can just get our confidence back...and we can hit a play early and make a Big Defensive stand early we can win this game.

Have some faith.

I lost faith after I saw Bledsoe get lit up for 7 sacks, and lost count of the hits and pressures.

But I am still rooting for a win and hoping Parcells will come up with something. It's a must win, no doubt about that.

In the NEW NFL, everything is unpredictable, I agree(like last year-after the Iggles kicked our tails in that first game, everyone was all but shocked when we played them close @Philly).

However-(1)Late in the season with the playoffs on the line, you bring your A-Game. If anything, the Cowboys looked like they had no fire coming out of the gate, and (2)We just don't have any locker room/on the field leaders at the moment. Al S, Dat, Henry, and Flo were no world-beaters. However-they are OUR Team Captains. You also gotta wonder if their leadership is being sorely missed now.

i don't think we can forfeit the game, what we can do is send our junior varsity team like we did in the giants and Commanders game.

How can we possibly match-up well when we have possibly the worst offensive line in the league and they have one of the best Defensive Lines.

EDIT - AND they have Steve Smith who is a very similar WR to Santana Moss who has owned us twice. Smith also owned us 2 years ago in the play-offs.

So true. We have done VERY poor this season with the type of DE matchups presented against us this week. We have a chance, but our play says Bledsoe's in for a long day. MY guess is we go back to the max protect, very conservative approach and hope Delhomme makes a mistake or two.

It could happen. But the odds aren't good.

I agree and I think we have a decent chance to win the game.. Definitely not because we match up well with them though. Moreso because we're coming off a horrendous loss, which teams tend to do well the next week, and are in a must-win situation.

We match up in the fact that I think their Offense is Garbage....and that being said we SHOULD be in the match from start to finish.

And if there's an athlete on the squad worth a damn someone has to have some friggin pride after last week's Crush job - I have to believe this group has pride and will come out with the world crapping on them and play like their lives are on the line.

We're winning this damn game.
