It amazes me how some people seem to gloss over the fact that our head coach is an imbecile. They try to blame Romo, the defense, or anything but idiotic coaching decisions. Green Bay is a prime example. We are running the ball down their throat ad build a huge lead and for some reason we become pass happy. Why is Garrett to blame for that??? He is the one in Romo's headset (I personally believe he is calling plays again but that is for another debate). Anybody who knows anything about football knows you should run to use up clock yet we become pass happy.

I salute you for always finding sunshine in the darkest places when it comes to this team. I wish I had that ability, but instead I am a realist and tend to call things like I see them. From my viewpoint, Garrett is the worst coach / game manager in the league by a long shot. As long as he is HC, we will never have a chance at reaching the ultimate goal.

He better play: It's the last game of the season and you can't hold back. He needs to show the nation he is a better LB than Luke Kuechly.

We 'became' pass happy because the passing game had been very effective, and because, despite having the lead, we knew we were going to need to keep scoring once we lost two more backup LBs from a unit that was already playing three replacement starters. And we got beat by turning the ball over twice, not because we called passes in passing situations. Make no mistake, the collapse was a defensive mistake. The game management mistakes exacerbated it, but they weren't the cause of the problem.

As to me finding sunshine in the darkest places, I'm not sure how you can confuse yourself to believe it. The very post you're quoting references me talking about an ongoing passing game collapse that's had us as a bottom-rung team in one of the most important areas of the game. My thing is to simply criticize the team for things they actually do wrong, not to criticize them for everything, no matter what, and assume that the most relevant stuff will stick.
