Down the stretch we played very tough teams. We played Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, and we had them beat until Newman got lazy and gave up that 50 yarder that turned the game around. The Steelers were on their own 20 I beileve, on 3rd and 16 and he didnt think Rothesbeger was going to throw it. Cant really blame him, it was like 5 degrees and hadnt been a throw deep yet all day. We would of gotten the ball back at about midfield and at worse drained 2-3 minutes off the clock and punted back to them deep inside their territory. Instead, they got the ball at the 30 and changed field poistion around immensley. Even though we made the goaline stand the field poistion was more important because of the weather. After the Newman mess-up we never got pass the Steeler 25 yard line I beileve.

Now we move to the Ravens. These guys made it to the AFC Championship Game in a conference full of elite teams. They went to Miami and Tennessee and beat them but came up short against Pitt. We could of had that game, it was there for the taking for 3 quarters. The Ravens defense proved to be too much and they displayed to us the toughness needed to be a championship team. They stuck it out as a TEAM for 4 quarters.

The Philly game was a nightmare. Philly did however make it to the Championship game winning in Minnesota and New York. This was another case of toughness. The Eagles beat us up on both sides of the ball. I would think the previous games against Pitt and Balt really soften us up for them.

The point im trying to make we are right there with the top teams in the league. With Tony Romo who did we lose to that can be called a bum team? Arizona is in the Superbowl. The Commanders is our rival. The Eagles, Ravens and Pittsburgh I just explianed. You have to give him credit for beating the Giants and Commanders in regular season like playoff games. We just couldnt get over the hump against the 4 best teams in the league. Whether you like it or not we are one of these away from making a run.

1. One less mental breakdown than the other team. Thats it. The Ravens and Steelers came down to that imo. Besides Ware sack on the first play of the Raven game both of these teams didnt make many mistakes.

2. Outcoaching the other team by one more play. Even though were probably getting outcoached right now by alot if somehow they can improve by one play it would mean the world to this team. Give me the Fitzgerald throwback against the Eagles. Give me the Wildcat? Give me the fake handoff boot that Flacco killed us with on 3rd down. Laugh, but that play kept our defense on the field for 5 minutes longer and kept our offense out of sync from not playing. Small things to name a few.

3. Teams beat us up at the end of the year. We need to find a way to change that. At least make this category a draw.

Idk, just my opinion we arent that far off. We just need a tweek here or there to win these close games. We won with turmoil in the lockeroom and played close games with it too. I dont think this will be an issue once the game starts next season. During the week is a different story. Everyone from the top down needs to step it up a half step and were be fine. Opinions

This same team, with better coaching, better scheming, is a dominate group. I would swap a few parts out, but no more.

You take a team that's been together 3 or 4 years now, you don't want to tinker with it too much. Just tighten up on the coaching, as the QB goes, so does this team. So we need Romo to be as solid as a rock.

Not sure how people can still say this when "this" team hasn't proved anything, especially when it matters.

Yes Folks, looking at the roster we a have an impressive "group" of players but this team is hardly dominate becase it is disgustingly made of too many CEOs and not enough worker bees.

Who's the leader on Offense and Defense? Also, what exactly is the identity of this team?

LOL 44 to what? Come on guys...

and I am pretty sure we lost all but one of our games down the stretch...does not matter if we "almost" won, because we lost...

Or the same coaching group with a better fit of players is a dominate group. The problem isn't the players and it isn't the coaches.. it is the combination of OUR players with OUR coaches. They don't fit. A lot of changes don't have to be made, but some do. Right now, I am not certain that enough has been made.
