I think Seahawks and Bengals can present problems for them as well. But yes, would be nice to just take care of business regardless. As has been noted in another thread, we have a brutal schedule down the stretch of this season. On the contrary, SF has a cupcake of a schedule. As I see it, they have 4 potential losses on their schedule: Dallas (at home), Jacksonville (away), Philadelphia (away), and Washington (away). I included Washington because they play Washington in late December and Washington could arguably be playing for a playoff spot. I guess the argument could also be made that they could drop one of their divisional games to the Rams.
My point is this: SF will probably lose only 3-4 games this year, which means we can only afford to lose the same amount of games. Whoever wins that game between us on Oct. 8 could very well end up winning home field advantage in the playoffs in a head-to-head tie.

they need to treat all division and conference games like playoff games, there's just too much competition in the NFC for playoff spots to assume they're going to get one. Winning the NFC East should be the highest priority. As has been noted in another thread, we have a brutal schedule down the stretch of this season. On the contrary, SF has a cupcake of a schedule. Completely different team and mindset. I don't see them laying any eggs with how motivated Parsons is. This team is locked in.After what the fans of this franchise have been through in the last quarter century I can’t at all believe any one of you would get ahead of yourselves.
Win this week.
Nothing wrong with good team appreciation. But then there is over the top as well .yes there are slobberer posters.Who is a 9er slobberer here? The fact that people think they are very good is not being a slobberer, imo people saw what happened the last two times we've played them and choked, imo this game will be a major confidence booster for the team if we win..this game is very important for more than just standings.
Well for one, we aren't players or coaches. We don't gameplan or prepare. We can look ahead as far as we want. How is anyone thinking beyond AZ?
Beating them in October is not near as important as beating them in the post seasonAs has been noted in another thread, we have a brutal schedule down the stretch of this season. I get it. It's a message board. Fan is short for fanatic. What I mean is that the NFL landscape changes week to week... injuries, surprises, upsets etc. We can cherish the NFL season for a few short months. Anything can happen any week. A seemingly formidable opponent on the schedule in December could look way different when we get there. I'm just thinking get to 3-0 and savoring the game week ahead of us. Carry on with who we're playing in the SB.Well for one, we aren't players or coaches. We don't gameplan or prepare. We can look ahead as far as we want.
If the games get accumulated, and you're one game shy of making the playoffs and/or winning the division, then that regular season game was absolutely a must-win game.I gotta tell you there are no must wins in a regular season game they all count they all get accumulated and at the end of the day all you want to do is make the playoffs.
They may not suck but I don't give a rats coitus about them. You're not a real fan unless you just brainlessly say everyone sucks but us.
Every game is a must win game unless you’ve clinched home field throughout the playoffs. As has been noted in another thread, we have a brutal schedule down the stretch of this season.
