Since we held firm and didnt budge with Murray, we need to stay disciplined and add a RB through the draft, we dont need to be signing some old veteran, thats like buying a used car with 100k miles on it.

Whoever is making the decisions at valley ranch these days ie. last year with Ware; this year with Dez and DeMarco is finally putting this franchise on the right road. keep it that way!

We almost have to at this point..............with Forsett resigning with the Ravens, Spiller is the only vet left on the market that is halfway decent (and even he is questionable).

If we had to play a game tomorrow, our starting RB would be either Randal or Williams..............an underwear thief and a practice squad guy.

LMAO

This IS the year to add running backs in the draft, there are talented backs that would flourish behind this line.

3 ways to look at this, 1) we have Williams on the squad but do they trust him enough to draft a running back low, say 3rd or 4th round. i.e. not have to commit a high draft pick, which needs to go to defense. Or 2) bring in a Spiller and still draft a runner low (Cobb would make sense in this case). Or 3) Draft a 1st rounder/2nd rounder to run behind our line.
I like # 2 - Spiller would be the stop gap to allow a lower draft pick a year or so to pick up the pro-scheme. As much as people want one of the two first round RB's we cannot commit those resources to a runner, has to be a DE or DT I would think (Unless Hardy - only DE left comes into the fold).

It will be back-by-committee in Dallas next season. While I'd love to see them kick the tires on C.J. Spiller; a high draft pick coupled with Ryan Williams would work just fine behind this o-line. Maybe Randle; too, if he's to be trusted.

For the 100th time..Adrian Peterson will be our guy. And if he isn't then we'll draft a rb and we'll see what we have in Randle and Williams.

so you would be comfortable paying Peterson 8 million plus a year? isnt that why we let Murray go?
