Ben R. is proof positive how much it helps having a QB who can move a little. Having a statue like Bledsoe will hurt us. He is about as mobile as a refridgerator. Actually that is an unfair comparison, refridgerators have wheels.

we need an OL who can block for the run and pass.

I agree. Roth has yet to impress me. He's a busdriver and no more.
His deep balls are little more than prayers. Maybe he's still playing hurt but I've seen nothing that would make me say I'd want him.
I haven't seen Roth put up performances like the ones Bledsoe did against San Diego, San Francisco, Philthy, or Carolina...ya know...clutch in the clutch.
Ben just has a better OL. Ben is being carried. With a little time Drew can carry.
