We need a new name for the Prescott Offense

I have seen it now for 7 games..

It's so different from anything I have seen and I'Ve seen it all..

From Jerry Rhome and Buddy Dial and Don Perkins..

to Don Meredith and Bobby Hayes and Dan Reeves and Frank Clark..

to Craig Morton and Lance Rentzel and Raymond Berry

To Roger Staubach and Billy Joe Dupree and Tony Dorsett

To Danny White and Hershel Walker and Ron Springs

To Aikman, Smith, Moose, Novachek and Irvin..

and Romo, Dez and Witten and Murray.

This offense of DAK, Witten, Zeke and Morris with Butler..

Needs a name..

We have already heard the DAK Attack.

I suggest the Silver Express..

We need something to describe this bunch of relentless marauders.

that is one of dak's strength
i think we are inevitably heading that way

Linehan has been outstanding mixing a new offensive game plan.

It's different than when Romo is playing and he audibles to his strengths..

But with Linehan calling plays..we see DAK changing some things at the LOS..

But it is pretty much what Linehan is designing.

Romo gets in a rut and the other teams have seen him for years and they can stop him.

They also know Romo is not going to run anymore and that is half of DAK's superiority.

actually we have the personnel to play the Chip Kelly type offense quite well.
a qb who can legitimately be a running threat
a qb who is good with fast pace no huddle
a dominant rb since the offense is run first - along with good rb depth
a dominant ol that is good at zone blocking
good receiving te who is better off now as a receiver
3 tall wr and great slot wr

And thats because Eagles fans dont understand the progression of a rookie starting quarterback. They are not going to learn the entire offense in one preseason. Yet, they have to start. The coaches make sure the game has elements that the rookie is most comfortable with and they continue to add in other elements each week.

Once the rookie can execute a set of plays to the satisfaction of the coach they include them in the next gameplan.

That is why Dak started out with these short and midrange passes. His arsenal becomes more sophisticated as time goes by.

If you think he is pretty good now,.you ain't seen nothin' yet. Next year he is going to be phenomenal. Heck, with his study habits and intelligence, it could come in December.....if the coaches and ownership make the right decision.
