I would rather have Norv as the OC then red. Red is a billiant mind but He seems a little predictable. Norv calls alot of plays where Romo can flurish.

San Diego brass says Norv Turner will return as coach



While most people would have viewed it as a subject that required at least some thought, San Diego Chargers, general manager A.J. Smith took time to dismiss the notion that Norv Turner could be dismissed.
In a smooth tone, but with a raised voice, the Chargers general manager told the San Diego Union Tribue the words so many Chargers fans feared and observers around the country had a difficult time believing:
"He's coming back."
Hours later, in an office on the second floor of the Chargers' complex, the only man in the organization with more power than Smith duplicated his GM's passion and his allegiance to the Chargers' head coach.

Man, some of you just continue to not get it. As long as Jerry continues to hire a coaching staff piece by piece, coach by coach instead of hiring a hc (or dare I say a GM) and then letting him hire his OWN coaching staff, we are going to continue to have personal problems.

I agree that Garrett, the presumed "Vunder-Child" genius OC, is full of crap and useless............as is Wade Phillips.
Tony Romo needs to be "Holmgrenized" by someone. Perhaps Holmgren himself. We need a Head coach who can actually SEE his shoes over his belly. Campo, Gaily, Parcells, and now Wade.................get a guy who knows football AFTER face masks were invented.
Why can't WE have a HC who was born AFTER 1960 and understands the modern game?
Pine and wish and wonder all you want about Norv Turner. He's yesterdays' news. Get the next Mike Singletary, and half the problems will go away, the other half will be much easier to deal with........................
