We need to bracket Adams in this game. Shut him down and make Rodgers make players out of his 3rd and 4th receivers.

More than anything, we can't let Rodger sit back fhere and have the time to find all his recievers. Got rush up the middle and then on the outside with pressure too. Our secondary I have faith will be all over their recievers. Also have to account for lb's Sean Lee, Durant, Hitchens, DWilson.

They went 3 man line with 8 in coverage a lot against Rodgers in week 6. He couldn't find open receivers and it frustrated him.

Inclined to agree especially since this is Mo's 1st game back. Don't want Carr to have to single him up too much either.

OScan will get Cobb duty in the slot and Bryron will get Jared Cook duty.

Hope the DL comes to play and can get after Awesome Aaron!

Cobb is more dangerous.

Yep, Cobb is really good and so is Cook. BUT since Nelson's out I think we can put Carr and/or Brown on Adams which will leave Mo with an easier assignment like the kid who's filling in for Nelson. (his name escapes me) Scandrick can take Cobb with some help from Byron Jones when Jones isn't helping to cover Cook. We have options we wouldn't have if Nelson was healthy and playing. None of it will matter if we don't get to Rodgers and punish him. It can be done and has to be done if we're going to win.

I think the most important player Sunday (other than the obvious which is always your QB) is Sean Lee by far

That's probably true. Not only in getting us in the right defense every play (which he will) but in covering Cook from 5-15 yards away from the LOS. As others have said, once Cook gets downfield I would think Byron Jones will then get the assignment. All their guys are dangerous, but if we get after Rodgers it won't matter. If we don't....we gone.

And Byron will have help from his fellow safeties Church and Wilcox.

1/3 of the snaps were rushing only 3 from what I read today. Didn't realize it was that much. Clearly had him frustrated.

Interesting take. I would disagree and think we need to focus more on Cobb, but you could prove right.

What do you think we need to bracket Adams and not Cobb

Cobb had 3 TD's last week and could've easily had 3 TD's in the regular season mathc-up if Rodgers didn't airmail some throws.

He's the guy we need to focus on.

Adams is a weapon too, but we don't have a liability like Sterling Moore at outside CB. And this isn't Lambeau's crappy field conditions, which works against CB's.

Cobb hasn't been consistently really good in years.
