I remember when QB Brandon Weeden was on our roster and TONS of fans here laughed and talked about how we were so dumb to be the only team in the league stupid enough to pay Brandon Weeden........then when we cut him he did not pass waivers and was signed by another team IMMEDIATELY and (if my memory is correct) playing for them the next week.
