I keep reading where Choice "could" or "should" be cut but why? I know its been said that he doesn't like to play special teams but I haven't seen any proof or heard a coach admit as much. Choice has played well when given the chance, which hasn't been often. Remember his games against the Steelers and Ravens a few years back? He's played well when he's seen alot of playing time like in the steelers/ravens games. His average per rush is up there and he protects the ball.

I just don't trust Murray since he's been hurt his whole career. Felix is in the same boat as Murray and I am a big fan of Felix but he just can't stay healthy. I just don't see Felix getting the lions share of carries and staying healthy but I hope i'm wrong. I guess i have always considered Choice to be our most "complete" back but its obvious that others disagree. Let the flames begin....Arky:)

If Tanner and Murray have better potential, I have absolutely no problem letting Choice go. I think he's the last holdover and malcontent from the TO era.

You really can't blame him...he wants to play.

I'd agree. I think the guy has tried to play his role and no doubt he's made some mistakes but he's also performed well when called on. I hope he can stay and find a role with the Cowboys that is mutually beneficial.

I have a feeling that he will get alot of playing time this year with Felix and possibly Murray ahead of him..

is it 2010 again? last year there were people that thought we could get a high pick for him i havent seen alot of talk about getting rid of him in a while.

the new we guy the experts on the board feel must absolutley go is Igor.

I doubt Murray will have better potential but we may give Choice the Patrick Crayton treatment and trade him and be stuck with a dud in Murray.

or Murray proves a lot of his critics wrong and ends up being a playmaker for this team.

I have a feeling this Tanner and Miller talk is real and someone unexpected will be cut.

For whatever reason Garrett is not a Choice fan.

Yeah he's doing a great job of that right now.

I've asked this before and never got an answer, but where does this mal-content thing come from? Reporters have asked him about playing time and he has said he would like to be playing more ..... so what? He's not trashing anyone or suggesting the team is screwing up or running around on a soap bax about it, he simply answers honestly that he would like to play more. I have never heard a teammate or coach talk about him having an attitude problem or dogging it in practice. I don't know why we would be interested in having players that don't want to be on the field as much as possible.

I know that Choice is a clown in that he likes to joke around alot....Wonder what it is that Garrett doesn't like??

well then let him show the coaches he is better

you don't think that JG has not looked at that

he will ne traded

and if your the steelers or Ravens who do you want to beat you

a 3rd RB or Romo ? the shut down Romo

and he only put up like 90 yards againest the Ravens
and 88 yards againest the Steelers

I will take Knile Davis for our RB tho

Choice said he would play special teams if forced to but preferred not to. He needs to go. Let Miller and Tanner fight it out for the 3rd RB spot and get rid of the last non team oriented player!

Yeah make a complete judgement based on a few days of camp. It is football guys get injured even Choice has gone through injuries at GT.

There is no proof that Garrett doesn't like Choice. People base that on him not receiving more playing time despite Barber's play last season.

Choice's specified role last season was third-down back and that's what he played. IMO, cutting Barber is as much about Choice as it is about drafting Murray.

I don't think there's any way that Garrett sees Felix as an every-down back, and the team doesn't know exactly what it's got in Murray until he gets a chance to show it. That's not a recipe for getting rid of a member of a three-man rotation unless they were satisfied with the other guy -- Choice.

That being said, if he's beaten out, I have no problem with that. But I don't think Dallas is just looking to replace him.

Choice is a good player. Why would we cut him?

If anything we just have more depth and competition.

Yeah, last year they were giving the ball to Barber when they should have been giving it to Choice at least on some occasions...

You say "only" 90 or 88 yards but no one else was doing that against those defenses. Especially at the end of the year.
