I know Dak has been inconsistent and so I understand why many have wanted to move on and get a cheaper rookie QB. But assuming he is able to maintain this current level of play and command over the offense, we must stop looking to save all of these picks for his replacement and go full on Howie Roseman and make some trades so that we can win now. If this defense is even competent then we are 3-1, with two of those wins coming against the two teams many are picking to be in the NFC Championship. The defense can stop the run up front and if we can go get some competent LBs and one at least good pass rusher then I think there's a good chance this team can contend this year or next year. We have an offense that just hung 40 on a good GB defense without our all-pro WR and 3 of 5 starting O-linemen. This team would have imploded in prior years without these guys. I wish they'd been better against Chicago to be able to adjust without Lamb, but this coaching staff making the adjustments they did in one week to hang 40 on GB with all of these factors is very reassuring. We really are seeing a more physical, sharp team in 2 of the 3 phases.

You don't save all these picks to roll the dice on a rookie QB when Dak is playing at this level. You use them now and go try to win. I believe we have ample cap space, so his contract isn't even an issue. If we don't go all in at some point and try to win now we will always be stuck in this purgatory. The odds of this team hitting on a rookie QB who they'll likely have to use most of these picks to trade up and get is already low, so roll the dice on what this offense has already shown you they are capable of and bolster this defense so they are at least competent. Please Jerry. And get that herpes on your lip addressed while you're at it.

Dak has already shown us he can be elite in the regular season issue is the playoffs

You trade all those picks and you ruin the future because IF we get to the playoffs and thats a strong IF we already seen he cant get it done and then we’ll have wasted picks

Him having a great start means very little to be honest and these picks need to be for his replacement

Absolutely not.

Ahhh.....NO!!!

This team is not built to win now. They are existing in a reality where a 5 touchdown game by the offense is not enough.

Eberflus and his defense need to go. Then the team has to find at least two solid pressure players, linebackers that can tackle, corners that can cover, and safeties that don't get lost.

Complete defensive rebuild first, then look for Dak's long term successor second.

Jumping to a conclusion to waste potentially important draft picks off of one performance is fools gold, especially only 4 games into the season. Since starters on most teams don't play in preseason games, it takes about a month for players to find their groove. Combine that with new coaches, new schemes, new players, early injuries, and early favorable or unfavorable matchups, it's too early to draw conclusions about this team or any team.

I'm not opposed to being aggressive if you're in position to do so, but this is certainly not the right time. Plus how many teams are really selling off assets right now? There is only 1 team with fewer wins than us in the entire league. You have the Jets, Panthers, Commanders coming up. Can you go at least 2-1 over that stretch to get over .500 without additional help? If so now while you're at the end of October with a winning record I think it would be fair to talk about spending a 1st round pick to help upgrade the current team.

Need to go 3-0

SB contention is not within striking distance. That's what happens after decades of neglect for the defense. Offense is pretty close, defense is a million miles away.

The Jones family and the Cowboys FO members must take away all communication devices and access from Jerry. Until after the trade deadline.

Can they convince him to take a trip on his big boat. And pay the captain to get lost woth no contact until then.
