A real Punt Returner, another vet LB,a backup NT,a vet WR(preferably the one that nobody wants)

"You'll get nothing and like it!"

We need someone that can fill in the roll if Anthony Spencer doesnt pan out. Also We need better Oline depth.

I agree with your list, except for WR. The 5th WR should come out of the young guys we have in camp. I thought Oggletree looked quick on Kick Returns and he seems to be the next fastest on the field behind Austin.

The first 4 are set, so not sure a veteran does much but take playing time away from Hurd and Austin, who we need to find out about. If one of top 4 gets hurt then, yep, we need to pay a veteran.

I wanted Hawkins to win 4th and long so he could have an opportunity to be our punt returner.

Vet LB would be nice, but I dont think it's needed if its going to be a progress stopper.

Backup NT is a must. No way around it, it is essential to get someone in here to back up Rat. If it means a draft pick like we did last year for Holland so be it. We have NOTHING behind Rat

As far as WR goes, I like it how it is. Williams, Crayton, Hurd, Austin, Ogletree/Stanback. Our 5th guy isnt going to contribute besides special teams anyway, and I really like our top 4.

I agree Hawkins could have done that nicely. Holley doesnt have a shot. I am not one to worry about "progress" I wanna win now. We are due.

I'd cut Reid right now and bring him in. Hell, it just couldn't be worse than keeping Reid on the roster. Matchbox at least played BIG.

I've always thought that letting burnett go was a mistake. But i think the LB squad will be just fine. We need some O line depth bad and have for awhile now. I think that we need some NT depth as well, but we do have guys we can rotate in there if we need to. IMO we need a true NT but thats not how the coaches went.

A true NT, yes to this.

I find it laughable that people think Spencer is going to be a bust due to one game. The guy has shown real flashes and is solid against the run. He has pass rush ability, but it's not on par with Ware so we all the sudden need to look for his replacement.

None of those guys have a shot. Hawkins didn't make it cause he would have been more of a bust than Holley.

Yeah whats up with this?

Spencer isn't terrible by any means.

Now I do think we are in trouble if an OLB goes down. But it is still early for those rookies.

We may miss Burnett.

Victor Butler is going to make #57 look better than Burnett ever did. The way he flew around on our first kickoff for the tackle was great.

If nobody wants this imaginary vet WR, then why would Dallas want him?

Because we MUST win our 2nd pre-season game.
