Ok, tell your mommy to put up $100 on Anae since it's obvious your 12. Gregory will have 8+ sacks this season while Anae will be lucky to make the roster.

Lol... I feel you. I hope Quinn can light a fire, bring out his best game, and put him in the best position to succeed.

Jaylon just isnt very good. Injury robbed him physically and he simply doenst have the heart or toughness to play linebacker the way he needs to in the NFL. Not willing to stick his nose in there often enough. And then when you have Jaylon as your defensive and emotional leader out on the field, it makes things even worse. The quicker we move on from Jaylon the better. He either needs to be traded or benched, or something. These other young guys need to take over.

He is definitely not an “alpha” out there... Cox will take his snaps in coverage in the nickel. If Neal is the WILL, then Parsons will either be taking Jaylon’s or LVE’s snaps at the MIKE or SAM.

This will leave Jaylon available for some DPR looks—which he can find a role doing perhaps. Bottom line is that with Quinn coming in after the disaster of 2020, the lack of a long term commitment to LVE, and a defensive makeover via the draft— we are witnessing a “heart transplant” on defense.

Quinn will use 2021 to see who rises to the top and who falls away. After the sifting, and another dip in FA and the 2022 draft— we will look VERY different on D than what we trotted out there last year
