We pulled one plug, when do we pull Flozell's

I think the 1st guy on the line that needs to be replaced, whether its next year or not, is Rivera at RG.

Folks should realize that Bill loves what Rivera brings to the line leadship-wise. I have no doubt that Bill believes that playing next to and learning from a vet like Rivera is exactly what Gurode and Columbo needed to get over the hump. He may not be great on the field but there may be aspects of his performance that are not directly observable to folks outside the organization.

dont understand why you'd want to yank Adams...he gave up one or two plays to Freeney and I didnt see anyone make a play on him against Tampa

he's doing fine

David

He is just getting back into stride after his leg injury.

BDC the guy (McQ) has been inactive (I believe) for every game. He can't play.

I was gonna say the same thing, he can't play if he isn't active. BP said he was only going to carry 7 OL to each game with Fabini & AJ the backups. McQ hasn't even suited up for a game and I wouldn't expect him to unless 1 of our tackles gets hurt. So everyone should hope we don't see him this year and give him an offseason to improve and bulk up.

So the question is when do we put McQuistan in there... maybe we need mean, hungry youth there too?

What do you base your assumption on that McQuistan is a "mean, hungry" guy? Maybe he is soft. Maybe he is worse against the speed rushers than Flo.

You don't know anything about McQ, so how could you advocate putting him in there?

I don't mean to chastise you, but I get really sick and tired of all the assumptions about players and demand that we have "mean" or "nasty" players at every position. McQ might be the biggest puffball in the world, but you want to go to him in hopes he might be meaner than Flozell even though you have no basis to think that?

Also, it is amazing to me that after the success of Romo, our fans can't learn the important lesson of Romo: let players sit and learn before throwing them in there.

Flozell is playing solid ball. He'll be ok. He is definitely not anywhere close to being the detriment to our offense that Bledsoe was.

when he shows he's a better alternative than Flo

just like Romo showed to BP that he was a better alternative to Bledsoe

McQ wasn't going to play Thanksgiving with Romo still in the game and Parcells wasn't going to Embrass Bledsoe with Mop up duty. Flozell is still less then a year from that injury and remember he missed a lot of T.C. as well.

1. McQ wasn't gonna play cuz he wasn't active.

2. The cowboys asked Bledsoe to go in for "mop up" duty but he declined.

We pulled the plug on Drew Bledsoe and got some hungry youth in there.

I keep reading how Flozell cant stop fast pass rushers and he gets beat often.

So the question is when do we put McQuistan in there... maybe we need mean, hungry youth there too?

If Flo is getting beat already.. and I read on here that more speed rushers are in our future... then why not?

McQ. Book it.

Book what? An inactive... If he was that good he Fabini would be inactive and McQ would be used in "power formations". Last time I checked, hes not that third eligible tackle.. Then again , maybe he cant catch....

Still... A first round lineman is needed... Either Levi Jones , Joe Thomas or Michigan's Tackle.. Other than that forget about it....

It's not that simple. Fabini can play both sides. McQ only plays LT.

Parcells has said that if Adams were to go down for a long period of time, McQ would replace him.

I'm very disappointed we have not seen McQ in there are the end of some games. Thursday would have been a great time for him to play 2 or 3 series rather than risk injury to Flo.

Because he's not activated. The Cowboys only dress 3 OT's, and Fabini is the swing.

This is the first I heard about Bledsoe not wanting to go in.
