...not necessarily Mike, but his son Kyle.

He is the current offensive coordinator for the Texans. Prior to, he coached the WRs and then QBs. Houston's offense is ranked #3 overall (I think that's correct, according to ESPN anyway...).

He's considered an up and comer, but he is VERY young (29). I mean he played together w/ our RW11 while in Texas.

On the plus side, he did grow up w/ a dad that's considered a great offensive mind and coach.

Not saying that I think he would be an upgrade over Garrett or that I want him as a HC, but he is somewhat intriguing.

Discuss....

Maybe we he can come after Mike's successful career as Cowboy head coach.

Want his dad as the head coach and the kid can come coach with his dad if he wants. Remember, Gary Kubiak worked under Shanny in Denver and that's how he got the Houston job. You think Shanny taught his son a little Bill Walsh or what? Of course and Gary Kubiak knew the kid because of Shanny. Shanny and the kid can come by tommorrow if they want and coach here as far as I'm concerned.

Every since Kubiak left Denver, it seems like they haven't done much!

The brilliant run game isn't there anymore. I have always thought all along that Kubiak was the reason for the potent Denver Offense. Is there a coincidence that Houston's O is so good now?

We shouldn't be considering Shany in 2010 we better be considering him for 2009 because a change needs to be made NOW !!!!

it was KS first year as an offensive coordinator...let's wait to see how he does next year and if he can make adjustments. look at what JG did last year here...who would have thought he would have been figured out and not be able to make adjustments. new coordinators tend to have some success because they are unknown, the rest of the league tends to catch up a bit once they have enough tape and can find your tendencies.

Denver had the 12th most rushing yards (tied 2nd best yards per carry) with a platoon of 5+ RBs (Pittman, young, hillis, torain, hall and bell). i wouldn't say that's not doing much. they've been top 10 since GK left and are still averaging 4.8 yards per carry. not much they can do if they have no one to run it and are force to throw in come from behind situations because their defense sucked this year.
