wouldn't mind if we pull a Washington and take one in the First and use a Comp pick on another. Basically we got trash on the Roster now after Romo.

I want to draft Goff in the 1st and Dak Prescott in the 6th and sign RGIII or Kap for a year.

But Prescott is too highly rated now, so maybe Boykin or Hogan later.

I wouldn't mind taking two. One in the 1st/2nd and one in the 4th/5th. The team needs to start throwing numbers at the position.

I wouldn't mind. I even might take one in the first round this year and the same next year. That said, if I take one in a late round, I don't take the conventional 3-year college starter. I try to find someone who had an unconventional college career but with a lot of upside.A talented backup, one-year starter, etc.

Jake Rudock. QB. 6’3, #210 Michigan - UDFA
Jeff Driskel, QB, 6-4 #230 Louisana - RD 6
Nate Sudfeld, QB, 6-4 #240 Indiana 4 -5

I think Sudfeld could wind up a 3rd or even late 2nd

As a day 3 pick Id be interested in Hogan if he slips there. Good long term backup potential and could push a high draft pick if he busts

If we draft Goff I wouldnt waste my time with Griffin or Kaep, Goff would be a better backup then either of them. Goff can play in 2016

With Romo's glass collarbone, we got garbage at the QB position all the way around. Do you really think that thing won't snap yet again the first time Romo goes down next season? The QB position is a huge hole in the current roster.

And two 1-Techs as well for good measure...

Ehh no thanks...the odds of getting a future starting LB, G, RB, TE, or DT are at least somewhat realistic. The odds of getting a useful QB in the 4th/5th are virtually non existent. If the scouting department feels that Goff or Lynch are franchise QB's then take them in the 1st...if not target a kid in the 4th/5th who has tools to work with as the 3rd string behind a new vet backup. And no RG3/Kaep, just don't need the circus. I'd take Henne, Matt Moore, Gradkowski, or even Colt McCoy. It was the system/coaching that failed us, not the previous backups in my opinion. No need to overreact to the back up QB situation.

I don't hate the idea of taking 2 QBs, but I don't think it would work for us, not this year anyway.

If we draft 2 QBs, it may mean that we need to carry 4 on the roster (Romo, backup and the 2 draftees). If Romo goes down for a significant time again (more likely than not, imo), I don't think the coaching staff would feel comfortable rolling with 2 rookies (even if the rookie happens to be Goff or Lynch).

If Romo was more durable, I think you can take the risk of having 2 rookies backing up.

just like Jimmy did when he drafted Troy A - and picked up Walsh as a just in case
