But close to what MBIII will get, IMHO, and that's too much for 1 backfield. We will draft a RB and maybe even 2. Then maybe get a Kevin Faulk type in FA that won't break the bank. Unless i have seriously overrated what Turner will command, i don't think there is a chance in heck he comes here. Besides, don't you think he'd like to carry the ball more than 6-8 times a game? If we give MBIII a large deal, he'll probably get 250 carries a year. Heck, he got 204 this year. Add a zero to his cap hit and that means he's the man here, as it should be.

If JJ can't get McFadden, I hope he goes after "Burner" Turner. Still need a home-run hitter to pair w/ MBIII and he fits the bill. Will cost a lot less $$$ than McFadden that's for sure.....

It's Drayon Florence and by the way he lost his job to Cromartie so that should tell you a little about him...

Dallas shouldn't pay for Michael Turner when they can grab a guy like Mendenhall, who'll be a lot cheaper.

After the free agent contracts from last year, I don't know how you can think he isn't going to get a huge contract from someone needing a rb and I don't see us overpaying for a guy who will have to split carries with Barber.(who also needs a new contract) Makes more sense to find a rb in the draft(it looks pretty deep) or possibly a lower tier guy in free agency.

Sort of reminds me of Hambone when he had such a great ypc avg behind #22 and everybody wanted to keep him to be the feature back. Short term role player creates longer reload time for a great team. Sign MB3 and draft a RB.

I liked what amounted to the first real game I've seen from Rice the other night. I'm all for Rice, Mendenhall or if he does come out Felix Jones. I'm hoping he has a falling out with Pettrino and declares after all.

Where did Steven Jackson get drafted? RB's can slide.... I love Rice and can see him there late in #1 unless someone pulls a Willis or Whitner and see's the talent and grabs him early in 1.

If we resign Hamlin and First round tender both Barber and Canty, it will make more sense to just draft a RB or sign a mid level one for Salary cap reasons. Turner is just going to get too much money and he's not going to want to split carries.
