If we had Jerry Rice in his prime on Sunday he would have had about 4 catches for 48 yards and 0 tds.

I realize Gallup is likely to come back, likely by game 3. But that shouldn't have been a factor. When you have a player like Julio Jones on the market and you can bring him in for $6 million for a single year, why wouldn't you do it?

Even though he's 33-years old, he's likely going to start for you and produce to some degree even if he doesn't reach 1,000 yards.

I'm a fan of Fehoko, and even Tolbert (not so much Houston), but I can't understand why the Cowboys would think Noah Brown is a better option than either of those two, much less Julio Jones.

How does Dallas miss out on signing a player like Julio Jones?
He was flat horrid the past two seasons especially last year… looked like he was wearing cinder blocks for shoes. Looked like a completely different player Sunday… I’d be surprised if he makes it through the season at that level… hell , I’d be shocked if he gets through half the season. Regardless, he was a really tough sell for pretty much the entire league! No fault in not being the Guinea pig who did!

Difficult to know the quality of the WR group without an accurate QB.

The WR group might stand some improvement, but there are other areas of the team that are FAR bigger problems.

Tom Brady is the reason Julio signed with Tampa. He has already made a ton of money. He signed to get to another Super Bowl.

We should have made many off season moves that we did not.
1. Swing tackle in the off season
2. A decent WR or two
3. Back up OL depth
We had cap space but they sat on their wallets.

There he did great, if he came here he would have had 3 catches for 14 yards!!!

He was personally recruited by TB12 on Instagram. Why on earth would he have ever chosen to come to Dallas, instead?
the country club atmosphere and no pressure to win, and the big reason, to pick up a big paycheck.

Julio is done. Yes he had a catch the other night but he will be injured before long.
He's not the same player as when he was in Atlanta. His head doesn't seem to be in the game. Not sure what his deal is but to me he's just not the same guy.

Well, outside Lamb, the WRs stink. It's hard to give them a pass.

A guy like Julio not being here is a Jerry and Stephen problem. A guy like Julio is exactly the kind of player they should have brought in when they were letting WRs walk this offseason.

They don’t bring in guys who are going to make waves. That’s why Cooper had to go as he was exposing Daks deficiencies. Julio would never have fit in and he would have had the same Dak throwing him the ball

I think Julio is a guy who makes Dak look better than he is. But that's beside the point. The point is regardless of who the QB is or could be, the Jones utterly FAILED in building a competent WR room. It's Lamb and a bunch of JAGs.

The Bucs have the better QB. They have a better #1 in Evans. They had a very good #2 coming off knee surgery. They still went out and got a legitimate free agent WR. We had Dak, a #1 type, an injured #2 and yet the two doofuses decided that was enough and we could roll with a remaining rotation of JAG WRs.

We should’ve kept Amari Cooper or at least Cedrick Wilson. Moving on from both was incredibly stupid! More than 200 of Cooper Rushes 325 yards against Minnesota last season was to Wilson and Cooper.

I agree. There is a reason he isn’t bringing in a vet WR. I mean Washington was not much of a move to me. We needed someone force defenses to watch or double. Lamb is not the guy. He could be the best slot WR in the NFL. And maybe a #2 WR but I don’t think he can be a #1 without serious help. Heck even TO would be a improvement..

Julio would have done no better here.
When are we going to get it through our thick skulls, it's not necessarily talent that we lack necessarily but CULTURE!!!
Julio would have gotten here and gotten frustrated the line couldn't block and Dak couldn't get him the ball and would have been content drawing a pay check at Jerry Jones' expense.
This place turns players soft. Only the strongest-of-wills are able to overcome the culture Jerry Jones has established here.
Only a Tom Brady or Ray Lewis would have had the temerity and personality to overcome this culture.
