Trading up is pointless for this team.

We aren’t not a good starting team beyond a few first round picks here and there

If anything we should trade up to get proven talent

Can’t even count how may second round picks we have wasted on injured players

I wouldn't even consider it . I definitely aint using 2027 draft capital in 26. If anything I'm stocking up for the 27 draft.
They already parted with their fourth. I fear they will definitely be dangling next years capital to get into the second round this year.

Watch GB have a down year then we have to hand NY a top ten pick. I can’t believe they couldn’t get that deal done without making them choose in advance.

I agree. Get Styles, Bailey, Bain or Downs.

We have a new DC....have to let him dictate...but wouldn't waste any of the 27 capital now, if anythinf try and snag more capital for next year based on what im reading

I know that people are saying next years draft will be a good one because there will be some good QB’s in it… but do you know what other position groups might be exceptional?

I haven’t really looked into it. I just know that Dallas likely won’t be interested in a QB so the only way a good QB draft helps the Cowboys is that it makes other position group players fall down some.

I think it would be a mistake if Dallas doesn't look at the QB'S in next yrs draft. Cowboys need to start the search while Dak still has some juice left.
(This is not a Dak hate post)

He's older now with a history of being injured. Dallas needs to be proactive when looking for the next QB1, but you're probably right...they likely won't be interested. Sigh

Some are saying 2027 could be a historic draft class. Edge, WR and QB are the strongest with Secondary and DLine not far behind.

Unfortunately, linebackers aren’t looking promising so it is imperative that Dallas gets a couple this draft class. That is why I would do anything to get Styles except use 2027 draft capital.

Agree to a point…

I would trade up to lets say 6 if a player like Downs or Styles falls. give up 12 and 20 and pick up a 2nd and Styles or Downs.

I would. It depends on how they value those 2027 picks. It a 2nd rounder and a 3rd is seen as a 1st to a certain team? I’d do it. I have no interest in the future just 2026.

The 27 draft is considered a stronger draft. especially at QB. I want as much draft capital as I can get.

Well except nothing is proven with this draft class.
Everyone of them at a position of interest has question marks usually seen in players starting in late teens to early 20s!
