if he loses 25 lbs around the gut area he might be a DE he looks like a sloppy DT

maybe that guy could be DeMarcus Lawrence

He has a team-leading five sacks and 25 QB pressures on the season

What distraction? Like when he complimented Brady's wife? Like when he slapped the keyboard off our special teams coach?

Did he kill or rape someone?

Some people here still think he's guilty and forever hold that against him. Thats sad.

I wouldn't mind him re-signing but he's not worth north of 10 mil a year the way he's played so far. then again, you never know with free agency. I'd prefer going after Wilkerson but the jets will most likely keep him since Richardson's a dummy who can't stay out of trouble

5.5 sacks, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, 8 tackles for loss, in 9 games after not playing for more than a year. I'll take it.

His sacks tend to come in bunches for some reason. His last full season with Carolina he had 8 games with 0 sacks and 5 games with 1. Going into the last two games he piled up 7 sacks in 2 weeks and had another 3 sack game early in the season. 64% of his sacks came in 3 games. I'm not really sure what to make of it honestly.

I am indifferent to Hardy situation. More concerned GM who didn't think he needed viable back-up QB.

Sigh.. another Hardy thread. The market will dictate whether we re-sign him or not. And with so many teams (not named the cowboys) worried about public image, me thinks there's a good chance he's back in Big D next year. Time will tell.

unfortunately we've entered the personal ***** part of the season where people will start threads, regardless of the topic # already in existence OR how dead tired it is - nothing left to do but get mad.

this is that. stupid yes, but just anger running it's course.

He would need to take a pay cut. He has not been worth it but he might be wearing down already after not being in football shape and being out of the game for a couple years. He has skills but he has not played well lately.

how long ago was he on the "chopping block"?

fickle fans have no responsibility for wrong decisions or lack of patience. :)

I can see many reasons for not wanting to sign hardy, being a jag is not one of them.
Hardy is an elite pass rusher and there really is no question about that
The question is does the risk outweigh the reward, and I don't think so
Hardy farts on the field and he is gone and while he's not going to get market value for his talent with the baggage, he is going to get good money
Hardy is s very talented player but unless you could sign him to something like a week to week check I just don't think he is worth the risk

We should not have any more "we should not resign Greg Hardy" threads.

Hardy is our best player on defense.

And Ware disappeared regularly by the end of the season if you claim Hardy disappeared..

He missed 4 games, took a year off gets all the attention from opposing defenses and leads our defense in QB pressures and we don't event blitz. And he got his sack yesterday at crunch time playing DT.

People going to throw him under the bus to defend our incompetent coaches.

This defense is holding while the offense continues to be incompetent.

I do not think he should come back either.

His postgame comments seem very subversive and contrary to what is being built here.

We need more Stepford players who are not fazed by losing and pride themselves on being "relentless".

I will go on the record right now and say unless he wants too much $$, Hardy will be back ion 2016.
