My thought at the beginning of the season was they would get to the NFCCG and lose and I’ll stay with that.

They are good enough to get to the SB if they get the one seed, which isn’t likely to happen.

But I don’t think it’s crazy that they win two playoff games, especially when the first may very well be at the South winner in the 4/5 game.

The Seattle game will be a large factor in getting the five instead instead of lower, and will be a huge difference in this years NFC.

They haven't been to the NFCCG since 1995. I don't see anything that makes this year any different.

It's interesting how the national media largely was impressed with how Dallas matched up with Philly. This has always been a favorable matchup for Dallas, regardless of how good Philly has been recently.

Game was flukey in the sense that the eagles put the ball on the ground 3 times and were able to recover each time, got a ton of ref help (no call PI on Schoonmaker, picked up flag, VERY FAVORABLE spot on Hurts scramble, bad PI on Gilmore), so I can see why people see the road to victory. Cowboys COULD get hot later in the game.

On the other hand - Cowboys were gifted plenty of opportunities, have ZERO run game not manufactured by it's QB, MAJOR regression in the OL (Steele is plain bad, but even Martin isn't as great as former years and run blocking is just terrible), bad ST plays and earned penalties.

Cowboys are a good and even dangerous team, but you cannot rely on them to be a top 2-3 unit in this league right now. Which is really disappointing. The run game is insane how bad it has gotten.
