The funny thing is that many of the talent evaluators on this board made him a punchline, and made fun of people who dared to suggest he's a pretty good player. Parcells said he was a good player, and people made fun of him for it.

Yeah, the genius of this place is that so many fans here are just positive they know everything. Who can argue with someone so advanced in their understanding of football?

I remember when Shanle and Fujita sucked and Sean Payton was a terrible offensive coordinator, don't you?

Now all I hear is that Jerry is the reason the team didn't play well, Parcells is clueless because the game has passed him by, and Roy Williams is the worst saftey in football.

I know that no one here has ever been wrong when it came to evaluating football, so I just accept it.

Faulting Jerry is meaningless, few fans and experts thought hiring Parcells was a bad decision except for the two possibly not getting along.

it doesnt do any good...the fickle folks do this constantly...any move thats worked out is a genious move by Parcells, and any move that doesnt is Jerry's fault and he's "getting in the way"

I dont know how many times it has to be said before people get it...Parcells makes EVERY football decision here...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM...

Saints fan here. I think that Dallas' players are not on board with the defensive scheme. You guys have more talent than any team in the leage except for Washington and Baltimore. I've watched almost all of Dallas' games this year and it just seems to me that they don't fit the scheme Parcells is throwing at them. I know Zimmer is the DC but I think Parcells pretty much runs the defense. If you guys don't want James, we'll gladly take him. Trust me when I tell you he's a top 5 LB in the league if he's playing in a 4-3 defense.

well, guess you just don't see it. whether you want to admit it or not, washington has a lot of good players. more than any other team in the league. just take them and the cowboys as an example of throwing a bunch of talent of the field with subpar coaching and it not working.

yeah I dont know why anyone is complaining about losing Shanle and getting something for him

the only complaint I can see is he and Fujita looked like training camp fodder here, but both look like decent role players in the system they are in now...
