Why the hell do we need another 7th rounder?

Could be that Jerry doesn't want to pay money (in this economic climate) to udfas who can get more than a player drafted in the late rounds. Look for us taking guys in the 7th that we would have signed as udfas in previous years.

I'd guess we were targeting Vaughn, and when he went to the Saints one pick ahead of us they felt they could drop back and still get their next target.

I'm not jumping off any bridges here, but two ILB's, one OG, and another OLB...is a bit of a head scratcher for me. No safety is concerning. I hope its because they're confident in Sensabaugh.

We got late round value last year- Alan Ball (7th) ? Scandrick (5th) - and others of course.

Both made the team and contributed so I am hanging in there and waiting for the 7th round to end. Seems like there are a lot of people who are on edge of seat and moaning about our picks like we had just dropped a third down pass or something.

I'm with you, looking forward to our next pick, or trade- patience is a virtue and the true bust or bang in our moves won't be known today for sure. Likely not for months, or years.

I'm old- I've got lots of patience. Depth matters!
