We were not just out played. San Fran had more play makers. The linebacker play was far superior. We had all five of our starting offense of lineman in the game, yet our running backs stable, wasn’t very good. We did not have a power back who could hammer and get those short yards to sustain drives. The writing was on the wall early on in this game that we were not going to beat them. Purdy is a much better quarterback than Dak Prescott. SF offensive schemes had our D guessing all night. They are simply a better team from top to bottom.

they were ready. they came to play. we looked confused on both sides of the ball. lets not forget, first series of the game, they marched down the field and scored easily.

we were outplayed but more importantly outcoached. MM looked as bad at OC as Aaron Rodgers complained he was and why he said he overrode over 50% of his play-calls.
with Jerry, MM, and Dak I dont see us doing anything serious this year or until they're gone.

SF is the best team in the NFL. Philly is the best team in the NFCE. The gap between Dallas and Philly is much smaller than the gap between us and SF.

If there is one thing Dak should get credit for is his consistent dominance of the NFCE.

We will split with Philly at a minimum. We may outright sweep them as IMO, they are not as good as they were last year and I can see MM and Dak rallying to make the race in the East close

Well, let's see if the wheels didn't just come off this team last night, first. If we beat the Chargers and Rams, I am sure many will think we have a decent chance against the eagles.

I have no intention of rewatching the game, but I can't recall too many short yardage situations.
Rico had a few hard runs and then he was banned from the field.
They never bothered getting Luepke some snaps, but gave Deuce a chance to get 1-2 YPC.

Last night was an example of the combination of talent and excellence in coaching. The Cowboys roster at every position last night looked overwhelmed with the niners talent, coaching and scheme. Complete thrashing.

The surprising thing time was the Cowboys looked completely unprepared and had no counter punch. It was complete domination from kickoff to games end.

Pollard goes down on one touch on almost every carry and Dallas’ best LB plays DL. Throw inexcusable penalties in there too. SF is so well coached, they make 0 mistakes.

This was Alabama vs The Sassoon School of Beauty. Just a better team from ownership/management to the field crew. Barely the same sport.

I get it was their first game together in 600+ whatever days. But the number of plays they didn't generate any lanes for the RB's was extremely disappointing.

Yep, when you cant get a first down for the first quarter and a half, you are not going to win many football games.

There's really nothing that you can point out and say Dallas did well.

Well except embarrass themselves and their fans

Outside of Kicking game.....we were outplayed, outmatched, out schemed in every phase of the game for ALL to see. The students at the School for the Blind knew that.

Niners coaching staff seems elite.

Teams who’ve been there before like San fran…they’ll respond to a certain extent about how big a game it is but they’ve played in actual huge games with championship ramifications recently so they know ultimately it’s a week 5 game in October. Way way way too much hype from our team, our media, our fan base on how “big” this game was.

Putting this game on such a pedestal is really an indictment on our lack of actual post season success and imo distracted the players way more than it needed to. They weren’t ready to play and did not play discipline at all. Wish the staff down played this game all week - not that it likely would have mattered at all but it was just a Mickey Mouse mentality from the team talking about how “huge” this game was.

They psyched themselves out before the game even kicked off and that showed with penalties right away and 3 and outs to boot. Less talking and more action.
