Guys, its fricken preseason, the ONLY thing that matters is coming out healthy. This team is loaded with talent.

I will scream it from a mountaintop if I have too....THIS IS A VERY GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM, WE ARE FINE !!!!

Hey, you guys all remember when Spurrier joined the skins? 4-0 in preseason and absolutely blew other teams out.

When the regular season hit, they became the NFL doormat again, just like always.

Preseason people, preseason. Means nothing.

your team has talent,but it is overrated talent.here is the deal!you have no run game that any team respects,you have a outstanding passing game that its success is more predicated on romo's ability to buy time for receivers to get open which makes your oline look much better then it really is.your defense has 2 players that show every week,and that would be newman and ware.the rest of the defense is to inconsistent,which is why you dont win in dec. and jan.your team will not be as successfull as last year!! BOOK IT!!

Lets see how those disrespecters like it now that JuJo is gone and has been replaced with Felix combined with Barber now being the starter. Hell for that matter when Barber and Felix are on the field at the same time!

The defensive players that have returned from last year (Tank, Canty, Spears, Ratliff, Roy Williams) are showing better this year, and we've added a ton more talent with Scandrick, Jenkins, Pacman, and Thomas. We will see how it turns out this year.

Actually we are not a running team, and if no one respects our run game how did our backup RB make the Pro Bowl? You may not respect him, but trust me, teams in the NFL respect him.

If only you had the intestinal fortitude to read what you just wrote and realize how stupid it is. Our passing game is only good because we have an exceptionally skilled QB. That is essentially what you just said. Yeah, and the Patriots passing game is only good because they have a QB who is accurate. The Colts passing game is only good because they have a smart QB.

Honestly, you should read what Confucious said about fools opening their mouths...and apply it.

Watch this guy named Zach Thomas this year. I have heard through the grapevine that he pursues to the football. That means he makes tackles. I hope I don't need to explain that to you.

Actually our Defense played well in DEcember and January last year. It was our Offense that let us down. But feel free to throw something else wrong against the wall.

I try not to rip the "doom & gloom" crew too much, because none of us knows if they'll end up being right or not. The thing is, there is no right or wrong at this point.

What if the same issues we've had vs. San Diego and/or Denver (stupid penalties, poor secondary play) wind up leaking into the regular season and we get off to a rough start? Will you guys offer an apology to those who are concerned now?

Like most of the "level-headed" bunch, I don't read a whole lot into preseason.

But the truth is, there probably is some correlation between the way you play in preseason (especially the 1st teamers, obviously) and the way you start the regular season. It may be a small correlation, but I'd be surprised if none exists.

As for our "dominance", easy there... there is no given that we'll be a "dominant" team this year, even though most of us have assumed that we'll be contenders.

We don't know how the horrendous end to our 2007 season will affect our 2008 regular season.

I keep hearing "finish" as the team's mantra/catchphrase... but hell, we haven't even started yet. Are these guys just assuming they'll be in the playoffs?

We don't know how the rock-star attention we've received all offseason has affected our team's focus.

When the entire football world is calling you the class of the NFC and a Super Bowl contender, it's only natural that some of that talk seeps into your subconscious. It's like when an NBA team goes up 20 in the 1st half, and you just KNOW they'll relax a tad in the 2nd half - whether they know it or not - and the other team will rally to make the game interesting again.

Are we TRULY prepared to take this thing one game at a time? Lip service isn't enough... they've got to show it on the field, starting Sep. 7th @ Cleveland.

Oh, and the Giants were hardly dominant last season... somehow, I don't think that bothers them too much.

Who cares if we are dominant. That is part of the problem with this fanbase. We dont need to be dominant. Few teams are anymore. We need to be competitive, which we are and we need to be consistent.

Two words I am tired of reading are dominant and beasts. We dont need to be either.

That mindset starts and then when anything happens, like for instance the first team offense doesnt score on two possesions in the preseason people start flipping out.

We are competetive, like the rest of this division and that is all you can ask for.

I hate all this who is the best at each position crap.

No... not until they fail or succeed in the post season. This is a good team that will get their wins. I don't need them to go 13-3, but I need them to improve where they need to improve which is the post season. I really don't think going 0-2 to start the season will define this team.
