We will beat the brakes off the Giants

They aren't that good at all. Infact, they're not good. We come out the bye pretty healthy and focused and will beat up on the Giants pretty good. I honestly don't think this game will be close, we'll win by 10pts or more.

Their great streak consists of (Josh Freeman, Matt Barclay, Terrell Pryor and that future HOFer Scott Tolzien!) With that said they do still have Caughlin and we still do have Garrett so they have a humungous advantage in coaching and they are at home. If we win we are in very very good shape to win the division, if we lose I think Phillly runs away with the division. We should beat them but we are not good enough to have much confidence.

We need to win this game because I see losses vs philly bears and packers. At best 1/3 there. Going to be tough to win any of these. Plus raiders is prime time and we suck on prime time and thanksgiving too. So thats not a for sure win.

The Cowboys are even worse. It took 6 turnovers to barely win at HOME.

Barely win? We never trailed in that game.Led by 10, 12, 13, and 17 at certain points during that game and last time I checked turnovers are part of the game. If the Giants turn it over 6 times again are you going to use that as an excuse again.

The Bears maybe. The Packers at home maybe without Rodgers and the Eagles at home. I don't see losses there.

I guess the first question would be what games have you seen? The second question would be what leads you to believe this Cowboy's team is 10 points better than anyone. Making a prediction is one thing taking your assurance to Vegas is quite another. If you are so sure take your paycheck to Vegas or do like the rest of us and sit back and watch. Don't be Mr. Chicken little just do it!

Can this offense score 10 pts ?

This team has been TERRIBLE coming off long weeks and byes. Just TERRIBLE. In fact, some of their worst performances seem to come when we've had plenty of time to prepare. It goes against logic, but it's true. Of course, we cannot possible get lower than the Saints game even if we dug with a backhoe, so there is only one way to go...

Still think the Giants are pretenders. not to say we aren't either but I would like to believe we are not compared to them. They have the same OL giving up pressure to defenses causing Eli to be uncomfortable and throw picks. Their defense has not been tested in weeks, Freeman, Barkley, Pryor, and Tolzien. Here's to hoping old Romo shows up and lights up their secondary and we don't leave the game up to our defense, which is getting healthier, like the first game of the season. I also do not understand how people believe Garrett 0-3 after a bye is a trend instead of a fluke.

I almost wish we had not given that garbage time TD to their TE, from 12 pts to 5 pts, just so we would not to hear how it was a close game repeatedly. It was a W regardless.

I think the Giants have several problems more than us actually. I know everyone thinks this is the Giants of the last few years but they are still a pretty bad football team. I've watched their games during this winning streak and the other teams they have played haven't capitalized against the Giants but that happens when you are playing Josh Freeman, Terrelle Pryor(who was playing hurt) and Scott Tolzien. I feel like the Giants didn't really dominate these teams but they did just enough against mediocre qbs to get the wins. That won't work against the Cowboys. They are going to have to bring something a little extra to the table. Look the Cowboys aren't some juggernaut but I think Romo given those same opportunities would capitalize. I feel pretty confident winning this game.

And what happens when the Giants clown this team?

Gonna be throwing around misplaced ego and SMH's for the turkey day game?

If you're going to come into a positive thread and post repetitive negative posts you might consider adding some content to them.

This Cowboys team has too many holes and problems to feel confident about any game IMO. That doesn't mean they should go into a game thinking anything but this will be a tough win.

I wouldn't be confident about the us winning any game at this point. There are no guarantees in the NFL, we play poorly after by weeks, and this coaching does not capitalize on anything.

Ok thanks:rolleyes: but I'll go ahead and continue to be confident.

What I meant by that is take it one day, one game at a time. We also have a tendency to play down to a teams level. So if the Giants play poorly, we play poorly too.

Anyway, I reserve making any other game predictions. This game could go either way.

Well I don't have to take anything 1 game, day at a time. I'm a fan. The players do.

Actually, this has been a fairly recent phenomenon, but that problem has mostly been playing the Giants after the bye. Much like yourself, I thought the more time we had to prepare, the worse the beatdown. But here is the skinny from dallascowboys.com:

From 1990 (when the NFL began scheduling seasons with bye weeks) to 2010, the Cowboys have a 15-5 record following their bye week. Their record the last three seasons after the bye is 0-3. The Cowboys are 0-2 all-time when playing the Giants following their bye week....The Cowboys record against the NFC East the week after their bye, 9-3...The Cowboys record against the NFC the week after their bye is 13-4.

This is false. If anything this is one thing the 2013 Cowboys have NOT been doing. 4/5 of the Cowboys' wins have come against teams that currently have losing records. The Cowboys won those games by 5 points, 24 points, 15 points, and 4 points. A combined score of 125 to 77 in those 4 games. Not to mention our lone win against a team that currently has a winning record was our 17-3 drubbing of the Eagles.

I'd hardly characterize that as "playing down" to our opponents' level.

well if we are goign to say outrageous things, im going to be positive, JG is a great coach, our defense is above all others, and dare i say we tackle well. And if you believe any of that, you must be a Cowboys fan.

That said, only one teams fans is going to be happy, the rest will be on the this board.
