I got bored......decided to take a peek at our 2025 free agents. My goodness...... let's put this in context. We have already lost 5/6 starters and are probably counting on the draft to replace 2 or 3. The rest are replaced free-agent bottom feeders or non-starters already on the roster. Now add the players below who could lose by this time next year and we could be looking a full-blown rebuild. As it stands right now only Lamb and Parsons are locked to return but it is a contract year for all six. What the hell is going on????????? (lol)

Until we have a new GM does it matter much?
Maybe a little, but we gotta get a real GM if we ever hope to compete.
New Owner. If this is the way Jerry wants to run the team, what difference does it make if he does it, or he hires someone to do it for him? He's not going to hire a GM and give him free reign. Or hire a GM and say, I don't know how to sign FAs, can you do it for me.

Jerry's son has said he'll take less risk than Jerry. I don't know what he means by that.

DLaw will be gone. Jethro will hope for a comp pick.

Parsons 5th year will be picked up unless traded.

CD - franchise tag, traded or extended.

Martin - retirement, walks for comp pick or team friendly deal. Jethro loves his comp picks.

Trance - goes to Canada or resigns as a back up.

Dak - resigns or becomes a 3rd round comp pick.

I wonder if they can sign CD and/or Parsons W/O Dak's extension or adjustments from his contract.

This is his 5th year option season.......so he's def a free agent in 2025. He is probably getting tagged if they can't work out a deal.

Get him tagged long enough to see what they're going to do with Dak. If they're sure about dak leaving next season, this buys them time to see what they're going to do with him. He shouldn't want to stay if Dak isn't

I'd keep Ceedee at a big contract and Martin only if the contract isn't too high......the rest can find work elsewhere....they aren't winners or team players

The Cowboys will also have around $100 million of cap space in 2025 and also have the sixth most players under contract next season.

They will use Dak's contract as an excuse for their inactivity and it's a bold faced lie. The Jones boys just don't want to spend money. They don't care anymore.
